Good morning, and welcome to America! With the recent government bailouts, it should be evident who they actually work for now, and it ain't you and me folks.
When the banks and corporations run out of imaginative ways to take your money, the government will step in and do it for them. You don't have a say in the matter either. Oh, that's right....we're a free democracy with the ability to vote. Did you vote for a 10 trillion dollar mortgage? I didn't think so.
The government is the Mob Muscle, but instead of breaking legs, they make laws that say you have to pay along with the message that it's your patriotic duty as an american citizen.
