Not long ago, I met a woman on MD who I consider a friend.
Before you jump to conclusions... this is strictly a friendship thing.
Although we share some funny e-mails and joke a lot, she's in a relationship with a great guy and nothing we do or say crosses the line of friendship.
Even if she weren't with him, 'I don't see any doors opening for me' simply because we are on different paths and I'm not offering anything in the way of a romantic relationship.
I'm sure many guys 'hit on her' which makes no sense to me.
If you read her profile you can see she's in a relationship... she's not here trolling for a man.
Call it human nature. Some successful guys probably think they can persuade any woman to 'stop what they are doing' just to see what they have to offer.
We have discussed how often men confuse friendship and romance.
Just because a woman answers your mail doesn't mean she's 'interested' in you.
Guys tend to make that mistake too often... mixing friendship for romance.
True, I believe a romance can come from a friendship.
All too many unsuccessful relationships start off romantic and never develop a friendship.
Back to my friend.. I admire her high standards.
She's a working mom with 2 kids and has time to keep her busy life in focus.
There are so many good things about her that I admire, especially how she makes life seem so effortless.
We come here to share a few words and make no demands to each other.
Maybe that's what makes our friendship so much better.
Probably you know her... or at least know of her.
She's a really nice lady, friendly personality, confident, well balanced, very attractive, beautiful smile, always positive vibes come from her.
In the beginning, I contacted her first.
I noticed her city is the place where I was born, It was an instant connection to my old hometown.
I left there some 50 years ago.
Although it's radically changed, she always gave me tidbits of recent changes or mentioned places or names that I recognized from my childhood.
Do you know this woman?
Monday she commented, no one had blogged about her before.
So I hope I'm the first... HAPPY HUMP DAY Cynbaby... this blog's for you !!

I got that problem too, I trid to be polite to reply many messages that seemed to be their own writing regarding gettign to know me ,some of them understand what I said in my reply but some don't even I said  I 'm not interested in him.
I think I'm closing to menopause most of mails to me I have no idea what to do with but appreciation and give email if that person seemed to have something in common to me. I didnot accept to ahve a date with anyone from here easily if never talked on the phone or emailing..heheh! only two guys from MD after my first date in January,..that's all about MD.
Chat if you still like to have another date it would be nice if you post the blog about waht you like and dislike in women,,I think it might rock many women on MD

Just because a woman answers your mail doesn't mean she's 'interested' in you. And equally, just because a woman emails you or compliments you does not mean she's 'interested' in you.
I have a tendency to email people..men & women...to compliment them when I see something on their profile or in a blog comment or whatnot that impresses me. So very often this is misconstrued as a flirt. I'm just a nice person like that. Darn not being one hot mama like Cyn is!

OMG, I just noticed this blog and I have tears in my eyes 
This is the sweetest thing, I've been so unbelivable stressed out lately and although I have no business spending time "goofing off' on this site when I'm so swamped at work, I need a release every now and then.
I certainly do cherish all of our "private" jokes on here. Its really is nice and rare to meet people online of the opposite sex that are truly friends and not trying to "pick up" LOL. Hey I always tell you the truth when you want me to critique one of your "dumplings" 
I LOVE the fact that YOU get so many of my jokes and I get so many of yours. If the scammers and fake picture profilers only knew how many laughs we get from them. And various other's I won't make mention of 
Anyway Chat.....here's to all the laughs you have given me on this site 
BTW, you were also one of the very first people that I ever talked to when I joined this site and you have always been a very nice respectful person towards me.
