I recently wrote a blog asking for prayer for a young man with Hodgekins disease. He is the son of my dearest and best friend (whom I have known for almost 40 years).
Anyway the disease is moving faster than the doctors had hoped, so there is need for real concern.
Well, his mom, Bonnie, just emailed me and said that his first week in the hospital and on chemo, went well, as although the treatments make him ill, it seems to pass quickly. She also said that the swelling in his neck has went down, and he is on medication that would kill someone without the disease.
The doctors say that if his blood count became unbalanced, he would have to stop, but so far so good.
Thanks to all of you for your prayers, but PLEASE keep praying!!!
