I don't care who folks are voting for, but I am sick and tired of the SNL folks making fun of Sarah Palin every time she opens her mouth. I don't see them doing that with any of the other candidates.......what's up with that?

OK, I'm off my soap box.

i agree, but then on that vein, the late night talk shows do the same thing about anyone/thing that makes the news.

nature of the beast i reckon.

Honestly, I think they are only doing it now because they got such a huge response out of the first time, and because Tina Fey actually does look like Sarah Palin.

If any of them actually looked like Obama or McCain, i'm sure they would be doing it to them also!

Only another month, and all this will be behind us. Whoever gets elected, this country is in for it, IMO. Thats why I've having such a hard time deciding who to vote for, or if I'm even going to. I refuse to be even partially responsible for the downfall of this country! ANd unfortunately, thats where its heading!

I guess you didn't watch this week's installment, they parodied Joe Biden as well.

And after the first Tuesday in November, I'm not sure they'll be a need to make fun of her.

Read my blog about her.

I'm a Democrat, but even I'm put off with the negative stuff about her.
She keeps getting attacked personally and NOT on things like politics.
I'm especially disgusted with the attacks on her DS baby and her family.

I think SNL does a pretty good job of letting all of them have it. I just love the way Tina Fey has studied Palin, and gotten so dead on with her performances. Amy is doing a great job as Hillary, and she just cracked me up with her Katie Couric impression. I remember when they had a guy doing Bill Clinton all the time. It isn't just Palin, they have always done this, sometimes one is just better and gets more attention

If you don't see them making fun of the other candidates, that can only be because you're sensitive to Palin's skewers and not the others. Standing right there beside her this last week was a skewer of Biden, and his comments about being a good friend of McCain's. The first one had her standing beside Hillary, being skewered for being a loser and this woman-from-nowhere popping up and running as the VP candidate for the oldest candidate in US history.

If you check the SNL video files on the SNL site, you will find skewers of Obama and McCain from their debate.

When the VP candidate has major conservative columnists basically requesting she excuse herself from the campaign because of her embarassing performance, you have a major news item with which social humorists like SNL, Tonight Show and so on will have a field day. That's not SNL's fault...that's their job. The blame is hers for her performance and social position while thinking she deserves our attention and support at some high level.

Once you step on a national stage thinking you're worthy of national attention, you don't get to tell the audience how to respond. You only get to do your tap dance and hope for good reviews. For some people, for some reason, they are loving the dance. For a lot of other people, we watch in amazement and wince.

I guess if it isn't your child doing the dance...all you see is the mistakes in a not so hot attempt. If it's your child, you just keep thinking she's cute and people should quit booing her and let her dance. People just don't understand how cute she is...

Invested bias towards see no evil??

Guess you haven't watched much SNL because they've done this for YEARS. Before the last election we were flooded with Gore/Bush skits...heck I even remember some Nixon skits way back when.

This is a candidate that uses phrases like "by golly" and "say it ain't so Joe" so she's almost a parody of herself!

Bring on more Tina Fey...I'm loving it!

I guess no one remembers Dana Carvey as Ross Perot?

This must be your first couple times watching SNL. Obviously you've missed Amy making fun of Hillary, Dana Carvy doing Bush, and others doing every other candidate for the past 20 years.

I'm a McCain/Palin supporter and this paradoy doesn't change my mind one bit. It's funny.
Lighten up, Francis.

It is called entertainment at the expense of someone else. Makes me wonder why they want their freedom of speech when they don't know how to speak at all, but just poke fun.

There is a certain amount of New York elitism to that show. They poke fun at themselves but they make fun of the rest of us in 'fly-over' country.

Yeah, SNL has done this for years!
Occasionally, they'll have someone who does a spot on impression, such as Tina Fey.
And yes! I remember Dana Carvey & Ross Perot...good one, kjac!
I actually watched SNL Saturday nite for the first time in ages....just to catch the political stuff. I couldn't figure out who they had portraying "W" but he was good, too. It's just comedy!

I LOVED the Gore spoofs during 2000 and I was like in love with Al Gore, LOL. Lighten up....Sarah Palin provides a lot of material...though I think Joe Biden does, too....I like Sarah Palin a lot but I really think it's funny and Tina Fey does a really good job. Those segments are really popular, too.

I do, Dana Carvey did Ross Perot exactly. Excellently funny.

The other candidates aren't bumbling morons. Sarah Jessica Palin is a candidate that actually makes George W. Bush seem smart. And she could possibly be the next leader of this already ransaked nation. Doesn't that scare you?

I love Sarah Palin....all the more since the liberal press hates her. I got "sick and tired" of SNL a couple of decades ago.

SNL is going to do whatever they can to do to get ratings, it's called politics too. They actually did a good job the last time to pick on them all and I found it kinda funny. Remember how they picked on Carter and Nixon? I think all candidates get their fair share from SNL, but that program is pretty leftist. There isn't a thing anyone can do about it, complaining won't do a thing to change anything. That's what they are all about. TC Lost

SNL was tired after the "Not Ready for Prime Time" players all left.
