Think George Bush & company were into repressive political control? Be grateful the Moslems don't control our whole country like they do Dearborn, Michigan. The morning newspaper described how bad it is in a "moderate" Moslem country like Kuwait. I can't imagine what it would be like in places like Saudi Arabia or Iran where people are frequently beheaded (or stoned) for having intimacy while unmarried or married to another person.

By the way, this is not a subtle anti-Obama blog. He attended a Moslem dominated school in Indonesia for awhile, and saw the same type oppression from the Islamic religion that we see happening in Kuwait. For that matter, the whole problem started when George the First opened immigration to 12 million Arabs in the last two years of his term, as part of the aggreement with Arab nations to allow US to drive the Iraqi invaders from Kuwait. At that very same time, a friend of mine was never able to get a green card for his wife's sister, who had a degree in elementary education from a famous university in her native Scotland!

Kuwaiti officials abruptly ended a music concert by an Egyptian singer in this Muslim country when a young female fan jumped on stage, hugged the male singer and gave him a kiss. Qanas al-Adwani, who heads the government department that monitors public entertainment, says the girl's behavior at Friday's concert "defied the conservative traditions" of Kuwait.

Al-Adwani also said Sunday that the fan's behavior broke controls on public entertainment, which were imposed by influential Muslim fundamentalists after they failed in 1997 to ban concerts altogether. Concerts have to be licensed by the government, and monitors from the Information Ministry watch the crowd to make sure nobody stands up to dance.

Okay, freedom loving Americans . . . let's keep on dancing and be grateful for it!

PS - Creek Indians definitely would not make good Moslems . For one thing, we despise all tyrants, and secondly have an ancient tradition of single men and women dancing hand in hand together in town-sponsored dances as way of meeting potential mates. Duh-h-h-h, that's why God made men different than women.

Reckon we will be dancing if we vote Barack in? Somehow, I don't think so.

I'd rather thank the people who fought and died to keep us from living in a country controlled by a religion. But that's just my viewpoint.

The economy is in such a mess, no matter who is elected president, we're headed for disaster. In my humble opinion, Bob Barr is the best man for these troubled times, because of his strong committment to constitutional rights and intestinal fortitude. It is highly unlikely that he will be elected, however. I have nothing personally against either Barrack Obama or John McClain. I would be delighted to have either as neighbors. The same can not be said for the Bush's however. They are too much part of the Dark Side.

Etowah, try downloading one of those "countdown" screen savers like the ones that came out for year 2000. You can programme them to any day and then watch the days, hours and minutes tick away towards the deadline...

in this case the presidential election. Either way, it's going to be the end of an era...

May I urge all those freedom loving Americans to get out and Vote....they can vote for whomever they want, but, at least if they vote, whoever gets in office might be the one that a TRUE majority really wants....

If we don't take care of the responsibilities that come with our privileges...we're liable to be left with neither....and, maybe no dancing either...

Just my thoughts...
