The days seem to pass quickly by
Night soon fills the sky
A new day dawns filling me with a ray of hope
Hope for a brighter future
But it seems to evade me…somehow
I try..Yes, I try, but it’s not to be.
At time I do catch a ray of hope
But it is only fleeting
Maybe…Just maybe there will be a new day
A day I can grasp , and call my own
Until that time comes
I patiently await
