...McCain and Keating had become personal friends following their initial contacts in 1981,[11] and McCain was the only one of the five with close social and personal ties to Keating.[35][36] Like DeConcini, McCain considered Keating a constituent as he lived in Arizona.[28] Between 1982 and 1987, McCain had received $112,000 in political contributions from Keating and his associates.[37] In addition, McCain's wife Cindy McCain and her father Jim Hensley had invested $359,100 in a Keating shopping center in April 1986, a year before McCain met with the regulators. McCain, his family, and their baby-sitter had made nine trips at Keating's expense, sometimes aboard Keating's jet. Three of the trips were made during vacations to Keating's opulent Bahamas retreat at Cat Cay. McCain did not pay Keating (in the amount of $13,433) for some of the trips until years after they were taken, when he learned that Keating was in trouble over Lincoln.[7][38] In 1989 Phoenix New Times writer Tom Fitzpatrick opined that McCain was the "most reprehensible" of the five senators.[39]... Funny, John McCain was investigated for this and found to have done nothing wrong. I wonder why you left out that little piece of information from your blog? Because it doesn't help make the phoney point you are making? If you are going to show this sort of thing, you might want to include all of the information. Just a thought.

No, I don't think I left anything out of the blog. There is a link "corruption" that will lead you to the article and you have the option of reading all the information...
Then if you go to the video, and watch it from beginning to end, it seems to be clear what position McCain took on deregulation...
Seems to me that people will form their own opinions as to what really went down...we live in a world that has proven that the guilty go free...just turn the channel to Washington and Wall Street and watch as all the guilty ones walk away scott-free on the last corrupt mess they just made.
And I have put Obama down more than I have with McCain...but then again, I am receiving information every day concerning the misdeeds of both candidates.

Funny, John McCain was investigated for this and found to have done nothing wrong. Actually, it's NOT funny.. it's disgusting. He was found guilty and let go. Were you there? did you see the payoff? did you follow the money trail? did you see how he influenced legislation that allowed corruption at high levels?
Do you really think he was on the 'up & up' back then?
Do you really think he is on the 'up & up' now?
I loved that publicity photo of his 'golf carting around' with Daddy Bush. I wonder if his money will be supporting both sides of a war like the Bush family did.
He's a politician of wealth and greed. Plain and simple. He's for his cronies at the top.
Oh.. I'm so glad he was a part of the approval process in the BAILOUT... he stopped his campaign for it.
Other than to rape America, why would you 'suddenly' think he's for America ?

Funny, John McCain was investigated for this and found to have done nothing wrong. Exactly...and I am laughing my arse off at some folks trying to say that he was guilty.
If he was guilty...how come he never so much as had his hand slapped??

Both have their own agenda...and that agenda does not include the vast majority of Americans. Well with the exception of what is the easiest way to bleed us dry.
This election is just smoke and mirrors to keep your eyes off that fact the Federal Reserve is printing and spending money as fast as they can before anyone notices.
(The 900 billion they announced this morning they are using for short term business loans is unlegislated monies. When the press secretary for the White House this morning was asked for the details on how that money was to be distributed, her response was the Federal Reserve did that on their own authority with unlegislated money and do not have to consult the office of the President, so no we do have all the details at this time.)
Sickening what is going on.
