.i don't want THAT ONE to be it.
You do understand that this reference is being used to imply an accusation as well as being not-so-subtly racist.
I expected better from you.

I expected better from you. How is that racist? I guess next that you are going to say that anyone who doesn't vote for Barack Obama is a racist also. What a foolish comment.

It is amazing that people can go to the arena to watch Black players play ball, run track and do all the sports. It is amazing that black men and women can fo to war and die for a country.
But when it comes to being a president--it is a no no.
All the racist and biogets come out.
The other amazing thing is that tese people will not admit that they are that negative and poorly educated. Get a grip this is 2008.
So you would rather have a man with a temper on the trigger and a woman as a vice president that knows nothing about big time politicts. Who will also most likely be trhown out of the governor's job in Alaska come January for abuse of power for her office, cheating on expense reports and taking money from Veco.
So for you people that do not want to vote for Obama for his race, are you willing to send your first and second born to Iraq to replace black soldiers. Looks like a good trade.
Now think about how stupid you are think and acting.
Who will be the best leader for this country after 8 years of one of the worst presidents you people have ever elected.

How things get so stretched out of proportion. Palin was asked to look into four books, which by the way, she did, as she felt it was her job, and none were banned. The One, was referred to by the Democratic party themselves and made fun of by the Republican party as Obama being The Only One who can save The USA. He's been taken a likeness to Christ in many jokes, racist? hardly. What does scare me lately is that Obama did say clearly that he would go into Pakistan without the permission of the People or the Government to get Bin Laden, if he felt the people of that Government refused or wouldn't do it themselves. Now how does one do that? Isn't that like trying to go into Russia or any other country that doesn't want us there? I'm afraid that would get us yet into another war. At least with Iraq the Government agreed, you can't just go marching into another country like he said he would in the debate without their consent. He also wants to continue giving money to countries outside Russia besides moral support, I'm tired of giving our tax dollars away, how about you? He's making more promises than we can afford. Are you saying that Iraq asked us to invade their country ?
If that is so... this woman is playing with a deck of cards that only has two jokers left in it .

How anyone can get racist out of the words [B]I don't want that one[QUOTE] is beyond me. I saw nothing racist at all in the blog.

it never ceases to amaze me the way see things so differently. one can say the sky is blue, and another will say, "no, it's not blue, it's aqua colored."
however it's read it how the person reading it wants it to read.
and how i wrote it is probably not the way they read it.
i thank everyone for their comments.

How is Obama going to get us into a war in Pakistan vs. the Bush and the Palin administration's similar takes on Pakistan's sovereignty in the event they harbor terrorists? Erm.. and considering that Pakistan IS harboring Bin Laden..
=======================================================
BUSH AND TOP AIDES PROCLAIM POLICY OF 'ENDING' STATES THAT BACK TERROR;
By ELISABETH BUMILLER AND JANE PERLEZ Published: September 14, 2001
The Bush administration today singled out Osama bin Laden, the Islamic militant who operates from Afghanistan, as a prime suspect in Tuesday's catastrophic terror attacks and vowed a comprehensive military campaign to demolish terrorist networks and topple regimes that harbor them.
''It's not just simply a matter of capturing people and holding them accountable,'' said Paul D. Wolfowitz, the deputy secretary of defense, ''but removing the sanctuaries, removing the support systems, ending states who sponsor terrorism.''
Secretary of State Colin L. Powell stated in the strongest terms yet that the administration believed that Mr. bin Laden was behind Tuesday's devastating attacks.
Referring to Pakistan, one of the few countries that recognizes the Islamic Taliban who rule Afghanistan, and to Afghanistan itself, Secretary Powell said, ''When you look at the list of candidates, one resides in that region.'' Asked if that candidate was Mr. bin Laden, he replied with a curt ''Yes.''
He said the administration would present a case to the world against those believed responsible for the carnage in New York and Washington. ''We will go after that group, that network, and those who have harbored, supported and aided that network, to rip the network up,'' he said.
As he mapped the start of the antiterror effort, Secretary Powell stepped up the pressure on Pakistan to help the United States bring the accused terrorist to justice. He telephoned Pakistan's leader, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, to present him with a list of actions the administration would like him to take.
Mr. Wolfowitz said the United States and its allies would wage ''a campaign, not a single action'' to dismantle the terrorist group or groups responsible for this week's attacks, and to bring down the governments that support them.

Obama's Terrorism Speech: Another Break With Democratic Party Orthodoxy
Obama, the first African American with a serious shot at winning the Democratic presidential nomination, warned in his Washington address today at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars that as president he would be willing to unilaterally attack al Qaeda targets in Pakistan.
"If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will.... There must be no safe-haven for terrorists who threaten America. We cannot fail to act because action is hard."
In his speech Obama sought to affirm his credentials as a prospective Commander in Chief who would not only end the war in Iraq, but who would also aggressively mount an offensive against Islamic terrorists.
His posture provoked immediate criticism from some quarters.
Chris Bowers, a blogger who writes on Open Left, argues that Obama is mistakenly trying to win the approval of the Washington establishment:
"No Democrat running for President tells the country that he will deploy more troops to Afghanistan and conduct military strikes in Pakistan without Pakistan's approval in order to appeal to the primary electorate."
In a Wednesday interview with American Urban Radio News Networks, Hillary Clinton adopted a similar position to Obama's on unilateral attacks within Pakistan's borders, but with more cautious rhetoric.
"We have to have a much smarter relationship with Pakistan and the military of Pakistan to build credibility and support for their taking the actions that only they can take within their own country. But clearly we have to be prepared.... if we had actionable intelligence that Osama bin Laden or other high-value targets were in Pakistan I would ensure that they were targeted and killed or captured."

OCTOBER 2, 2008 1:35AM McCain's "Pizza Place" Doctrine Rate: 19 Flag
This week, John McCain drew a line in the sand. Faced with a modern media environment that is constantly and rapidly changing, politicians are having to learn to live in a world where there are no rules and no boundaries. McCain's Pizza Place Doctrine
On Saturday night, Sarah Palin was making a quick food run and chatting with admirers when a voter started asking her questions about Pakistan-- specifically whether the United States should "cross the border" from Afghanistan. Palin's response: "If that's what we have to do to stop the terrorists from coming any further in, absolutely, we should."
Of course, this is the same basic position that McCain has been hammering Obama about all year long, calling it "naive." And now, his own running mate had seemingly echoed the exact same point of view.

Personally, I think both the VP candidates are dolts. Whoever wins, I hope they live forever. Because if they croak, they'll be replaced by a retard.
