Did you know that people with control issues often find it difficult to compliment another person? Basically they don’t want YOU to feel good about yourself because it takes control and attention away from THEM. Even when they do give compliments, they sound shallow and insincere, given more for self-gratification then for your benefit.
I’m not talking about a person with a strong difference of opinion or forceful personality but an individual that wants their views to be the ONLY one accepted! They denigrate and attempt to alter your way of thinking by attacking you personally.
To discern the difference, ask yourself if someone is willing to accept or tolerate your personal differences without attempting to modify them . A non-controlling person may try to “influence” your perspective but it’s unlikely they’ll get indignant if they don’t succeed in doing so.
Controlling people want YOU to feel irrelevant, they’re manipulative and have a tendency to cause conflict in all aspects of their lives. I call it the “Better than me” syndrome and we know that’s not possible..right..lol Just joking around here to lighten this up.
Now I don’t want to start a war ..but I have to say this blog was predicated on a few things I read recently in MD land. Apparently, a few people and I say this with respect for their opinion, have voiced that “us” bloggers don’t adhere to what they “enjoy” reading in blogland. I say to them, GO GET A LIFE! The choice to read what ever’s blogged rests with yourself. Just hit that little mouse and scroll away somewhere else. Easy huh?
I personally like the jokes (even if they were blogged before) , poems, personal stories and information that every last person shares with us…whether it’s a cut and paste or a link to something that I may have missed in my ever hectic life.
I look forward to reading the blogs daily and have grown to love our MD community and the people that reside here who give of their time to share with me and others. A big thanks to all of you and NO I don’t think you’re looking for attention such as we’ve been accused of…well, maybe a little bit!
One last thing I’d like to add….MD management is perfectly capable of running this site without on going complaining. I‘d suggest a hobby, like watching water evaporate. It’s less offensive!

Watching water evaporate is a great hobby, I personally watch this on a daily basis. Water evaporating is a something I like to talk about because of all the fun things that this can produce and the things one's mind can produce with the aftermath of this great past time.... 
Thank You for posting a much needed blog on this subject...
(not the evaporating water part)  Some people like to control everything....

Control freaks and micro-managers operate on fear -
fear that they are worthless - and the way they treat people
only proves that they are.
I've seen them operate my whole life.. recently I googled
'dealing with control freaks' and within the first 20 links, the
general concensus is - get out of there - they have to admit
their problem and seek help by themselves.

I have seen alot of people who are very controlling they are not happy in their daily life so whatever they see and judge it comes with trouble from deep inside their mind. but in here sometimes so strange

I hereby ordain you Reverend Scorpiogirl. You preach it sister. You have more guts that I do. I personally was about to quit MD because of a couple of people on here who think they know the etiquette of how to post a blog. Just boring stuff to me, but then I guess some thinks jokes are boring too. But I try not to post negative comments or blogs. Oh there are sometimes when I get a wild air up my romp and I just have to say something. But for the most part I try to live and let live.
Again thanks for being brave enough to say what you said. Kudos to you.

I don't think anyone is bothered about the content of blogs, it's all down to a preference of what we choose to read.
Flooding is another issue, it is bad etiquette on all sites in all forms, including blogs and forums.

Sometimes we have people that forget what it is to be "new" somewhere or some place. And they also forget there is a learning process that takes place for anyone new to something "different"!
When I come on line I always go to the blogs first. I read my normal people. Mostly to see how they are doing and what is on their mind. To me it allows me to see I am not the only one whom maybe happy, ecstatic...or even sad. And if there is something I can say to help...cheer them or anything else I will try to do just that. It is important to let others know you care.....even if they can't see or touch you! Remember it is the thought that counts and that you took some time from your life to care!
A fine blog, young lady! I liked it a lot. Now, if we can just get some to look at it maybe they will have a little inner look at themselves and realize they are still learning! I learn something new everyday.
The little tidbit I learned today is....stay away from that "stinger" on scorpiogirl!

Personally, I would like the pope to say mass with more gusto. I know he's getting up there, but you've got to have a level of excitement about the product you're selling.
