i told him when this was going on, that i felt a blog coming on. i had to tell the world about our cat who has ties to the taliban. or so paul says, lol!
sugar is the newest member of our family. i say newest, but we've had her for like four/five months now. she fits right in and has become the alpha female of the entire house. yes, even over me. i'm sure baby, (our other cat) is happy she has been declawed on her front paws. no we didn't have it done, she was that way when we got her. i detest declawing cats, but that's another blog.
well, sugar has this fun thing she likes to do when someone goes to bed. she does what i call, the kitty drive by. she will take a running leap onto the foot of the bed and scamper across it and jump off on the other side. she normally does it one or two times and then settles down.
tonight, however, she decided to honor paul with 4 of them! and on the night he really needed some sleep as he may be starting a new job in the morning. i'm out here on computer and i hear him say, "stop it sugar" several times. the last time, he shut the bedroom door.
moments later he comes out and bitching at her. now sugar doesn't care if she's being bitched at. she lay across the back of the loveseat and looked at paul as if to say, "yeah, so what?" that's when it happened. i guess his sense of humor came back cause next thing i know, he's questioning her loyalty and whether she was a member of a terroist group, bent on destroying the moral fiber of the american man.  he then decided to call her osama bin kitty cat and i jumped in and asked if he checked her immigration papers... 
needless to say, she's just watching him and her ears went back slightly. guess she didn't like the osama name...
needless to say, we had a great laugh, and sugar has probably now decided we're totally insane.
paul is now back in the bedroom with the door closed and sugar is in his chair asleep. and me? i'm just trying to figure out what her next move is. it's time to do litter boxes and i don't want to be bombed with a "kitty" present....lol
ohhhh, the strange things that go on in the middle of the night.
sleep well and watch your pets carefully. they may be part of a bigger scheme of things than you know.
