I think after everthing that has happened to me in the last few years (business stress, husband's death, loss of business, loss of RV, bankruptcy threat, creditors threatening constantly) that I have managed to land on "one foot", but still working on the second.
My faith has been tested and shaken to the core, and I have managed to keep the faith of the "mustard seed" but at times have little more.
Throughout my life, when things have been hard, I try to redirect my thoughts away from "me" and towards others instead. I grew up with the knowledge and the phrase " there is always someone worse off" and I have always known that to be true. So I keep plugging along, placing one foot in front of the other, and making sure that I miss little, as far as chances to help others whenever and however I can.
This brings me what joy I have and gives me hope. "As long as I treat others as I would like to be treated, and as long as I love my brother/sister as myself", I KNOW it will be noticed, BUT that is not "why" I love doing it. Its because with all the pain in this world, if i can just make even one person smile every day along my journey, I feel I have not lived in vain.
You may be wondering why I am writing this??? I am just sharing again, and it feels so good. Responses or not, (although they're great), I just feel the need to share what is on my heart and mind these days.... maybe, just maybe, it will make someone

I remember the day that I realized that if I like to be complimented, so did everyone else, even the men. So I have made it a point to find something good about each person and compliment them on that.
