For the last week or so, I wanted to do a blog on the word "vetting"
It's a verb... According to dictionary.com:
VETTING: to appraise, verify, or check for accuracy, authenticity, validity, etc.
Example: An expert vetted the manuscript before publication.
My intent was to say that John McCain had selected Sarah Palin but she hadn't been fully vetted before he announced her position as running mate... vice president of the United States.
It came as a shock to the Republican party however they had little choice but to go with his selection. At the time, John knew she was under investigation. The results have been made public tonight.

How sad is this. I bet your only hoping she will drop out. Why should she? Because a commitee led by a Barack Obama supporter said it is likely she abused her power? They didn't prove anything, they just said it is likely. Why am I not surprised that a man who made the statement "I am going to have an October Surprise" when referring to this investigation long before he even investigated her said it is likely she abused her power but offered no proof of his findings. I have to wonder why a known Barack Obama supporter would be the one to lead the investigation? I am willing to bet that nothing will happen to her, she will not leave the ticket, and when the courts get a hold of it they will throw it out. This is too silly. If I were a Barack Obama supporter like you are I would be more afraid about what is going to happen to him after this A.C.O.R.N. investigation for voter fraud.

Does anyone care that the cop tazered a ten year old child and the reason for dismissal that started this whole mess to begin with? I doubt it. This led to a further ethics problem within the police force and so on which led to the dismissal and so forth. Sarah had every right to get involved and if the head of the department didn't take care of that cop, he should have been fired. Who gives a crap who he's married to. What about the ten year old kid? This was all known like the other blogger said before John picked her, and she won't quit, she's not a quitter. Obama has done far worse with his corruption IMHO, and he'll fool so many sheep and get away with it "Maybe". tc Lost

I'm not for either one of the parties.
So I think I can speak wiothout some bias.
I'd be interested to find out her past thumping of the oil and other 'good ol' boyz' network before I pass judgement.
Seems to me, if she has been involved in corruption probes of private and state agencies, it may be 'payback' trying to rid themselves of a pain in the butt and may not have anything at all to do with the election.
And IM is right.
An officer using a tazer on a kid, not in line of duty, is in my own experience, reason for dismissal.
Something is missing here and we should see what really happened before getting the tar and feathers.

Joshua, the Trooper admitted on national TV that he deserved to be fired - that he was going through a tough time in his life. He also admitted to drinking on the job.
What is missing here are any semblance of intelligence.

This woman, Sara Palin, is one woman that is power hungry. She will and has proved she will do anything to get her way!
After seeing the video and reading what a guy said at her rally the other night...I would not put anything beyond her. The guy yelled something like...Kill Obama.....and she never said a word of disgust or said anything to stop that kind of talk!
That tells me she gave that guy tacit approval to go ahead and do as you will. Power will drive some right down the road to hell!

Yes, so it seems. That was part of the investigation. Since neither of us were called in to investigate, we'll have to leave the decision to the bipartisan Legislative Council.

She's got a masters in Journalism... maybe too weak in Foreign Affairs.

I knew a woman who's husband abused her on a regular basis.
She prayed for the marriage to stay together.
One day, she 'woke up' and called 911 and had him arrested.
She started praying for him to be out of her life, got a restraining order and within a few weeks, she was on her own, had papers filed for divorce.
He never laid a hand on her again.
If you pray... make sure it's the right thing and not Maynard's Mare to win first place in derby.
