Recently there was a conversation between Barack Obama and a regular US citizen caught on film. This regular citizen is now called Joe the plumber. During this conversation between the two of them Joe was expressing his concerns about Barack Obama's tax plans. Joe said it was his plan to buy a plumbing business someday but he was concerned that Barack Obama's plan to tax businesses would hurt him. In other words, punish him for being successful. Barack Obama told Joe that it's not that he wants to punish him, he just wants other people who are behind Joe to have the same chances at their dreams. Then Barack Obama revealed to Joe that he thinks it is a good idea to spread the wealth around. So Barack Obama wants to take Joe's money that he earned and give it to someone who didn't earn it.
Now I knew this was a policy that Barack Obama wanted to implement but I never heard him admit it before. This was clearly a slip of the tongue because no way does Barack Obama want his true tax intentions out there in the public. This conversation is clearly hurting Barack Obama because since it happened, the poll numbers are tightening.
The last couple of days I have been watching the news and it has made me sick. The media is now crucifying this poor Joe. They are digging up his past, saying Joe isn't even his name, talking about his tax problems, claiming he isn't even a real plumber, doesn't have a license and so on. Why on earth is this Joe the plumber being investigated by the media? He is just an average citizen who was ironically caught on video having a conversation with Barack Obama. This was bad news for Barack Obama so the media is now attacking Joe.
Can you imagine that. A citizen voices his concerns to a presidential candidate and the next thing you know his whole life is turned upside down and he is investigated like some sort of criminal. How come Barack Obama supporters who ask him a question are not investigated. William Ayers is all over this campaign and no media is investigating or reporting his past. Why is that?
America is slowing dying. It is slowly being taken over by socialism and fascism. This is the land of the free. Why should someone be investigated because he brings up his concerns. Frankly, I don't think the majority of Americans know, just how much trouble this country is in as far as loosing this Republic.
I was just talking today with a friend.
Americans have T.V., radio, internet etc for communication.
Yet, they are the most clueless people on this planet.
They vote for people and have absolutely no idea of that persons beliefs, voting record etc.
I don't blame politicians anymore.
I blame a people who have fell asleep at the wheel and don't have the courage to take back what is rightfully theirs.

This is not somthing Obamma has kept a secret.He ran his campain on the promis of taxing the rich! The midle class want tax breaks for us and stick it to the rich. In this case anyone making over 250K. well I hate to tell you this. But most of us work for those folks. and they will lay off to make up for the tax loss! My dads company he runs will simply cut 3 jobs in the data entry department. and The owners will not worry about it. as for the midle class datta workers? Good luck!

Barack Obama has changed subject every time he was asked about Ayers and he defended ACORN.There are 14 states being investigated by the FBI about ACORNS method of registering voters.Mostly Democrats I might add.

Some are even questioning if it was a McCain plant? Also "Joe" or whatever his name admited his buisness wouldn't make over $250,000...so in fact he would fall under Obama's tax plan.
McCain said “Joe the plumber” faced “much higher taxes” under Obama’s tax plan and would pay a fine under Obama’s health care plan if he failed to provide coverage for his workers. But Ohio plumber Joe Wurzelbacher would pay higher taxes only if the business he says he wants to buy puts his income over $200,000 a year, and his small business would be exempt from Obama’s requirement to provide coverage for workers.
Update Oct. 16: ABC News reported the morning after the debate that Wurzelbacher admitted to a reporter that he won't actually make enough from his new plumbing business to pay Obama's higher tax rates. ABC said his admission "would seem to indicate that he would be eligible for an Obama tax cut."

Legacy - A plant? Barack Obama went to Joes home, Joe didn't seek Barack Obama.
From all that information you gave us, what has that have to do with the media investigating this Joe the plumber. The whole thing is that here was a citizen voicing his concerns and because his concerns were deemed anti Obama by the media, they have investigated the background of this Joe and have tried to smear/destroy him. Is that the American way? Destroy those who have concerns or differences of opinions? This is clearly the wrong path for this country and can only lead to terrible consequences.

My dads company he runs will simply cut 3 jobs And that would be because???????? Trickle down economics says he is supposed to be creating jobs........ but it is sounding like that business got stuck at the profit margin level... the creation of jobs and the building of business is why he is getting the tax break. If he is pocketing the difference instead of building a sound business then let him pay the same rate of taxes I do.
So maybe the tax code should read as long as you maintain or build your business here in the United States, invest here in the United Stated, employee here is the United States, you can keep your tax breaks, but if your business grows stagnant and you are profiting in excess....screw it pay at the same tax rate.

It is bad that most of you people take Fox News ( a republican news outlet) and believe everything they say. Lets get facts straight.
This country has always had a graduated tax rate. If you make 250K per year-you pay 34% tax and every thing over 250K is 39%. Obama wants to move the tax schedule back to where it was under Clinton.
Now lets talk about Joe the Plumber. First he is not a plumber, nor is he qualified to be one.--No school and no apprenticiship, no license. Second, I do not know many plumbers who profit 250K per year. This shows how much Joe knows a bout business. Plus, he does not pay his fair share of taxes any way--he ows the State of Ohio 1800 bucks and I wonder how much he ows the IRS. So, this guy will not pay his taxes anyway.
The question here is: was he a plant by the Republican Party or was he just a dumb ass.
I was always taugh that one must be educated and work at beginner's pay until he gained the experience for the top pay. So, Joe would never make 250K per year, Or I have and many others have done something wrong.
But then you can fool some of the people most of the time (used to be some of the time) but not all the people all the time.
Now I have a friend that has a garage and many tools, so I told him today if the American people believed that Joe was a plumber than we could call him ******the Mechanic and work on people that believe this bull shit's cars.
The problem here is that you have been had!!!

Nevermind that Barack Obama walked up to Joe and not vice versa. It is so sad that you feel the need to disparage those who are not democrat. This is why I can't be a democrat or a republican. There is no way I can hate people and say bad things about them just because they belong to a different party then me.

 Hey Kentuck when's the last time you made 250,000.00 besides Monopoly.
Tell me Kentuck whats the tax liability of a single person making $250,000.00 a year? probably more then you make in 2 years. Who's in this wage bracket?
Doctor, engineer, dentist, anatesiologist, entrepreneur, etc. So when you tax them more what do they do? raise the price of services or layoff employee's. What's going to happen to the medical field with a National health care program when the government limits what a physician can charge for services?

The physicians already are limited as to what they can charge for their health care services if you have medical insurance - it's all according to their contract with the insurance company. You may pay a co-pay, then insurance pays the allowed amount to the doctor, and the rest is written off or charged back to patient due to fact they can only receive a specific amount from the insurance company. Check the fine print of your statement from the insurance company.

I don't think anyone can blame the news services for covering the story of Joe the Plumber. John McCain made him a name and an issue in his campaign. If Joe has been investigated and his true story told this is called COVERING THE NEWS or REPORTING ON THE ISSUES. This is what we demand of the news. Is news slanted? Without doubt. The key is that it's slanted both ways depending on which network you watch. It's a good idea to turn off NBC and watch FOX sometimes and certainly a good idea to take a break from FOX. If Joe the Plumber is what he claimed then he will make a million dollars in four years. It takes on the order of 20 years for the normal family to make that. If you're in the lower 20% you MIGHT make that over your working career. I don't feel too sorry for Joe the Plumber. I think he'll be just fine. It's the family that makes 40K and has to pay the bulk of the taxes that concerns me. In the Bush tax cuts the average family had a net reduction of less than a hundred dollars. Dick Cheney, on the other hand had his taxes reduced by 83K. I don't think that was necessary. Yes, I'd take that away from Dick. I don't think he needs it as much, even, as Joe the Plumber.
