The economic collapse of the United States might propel Obama into the White House, this coming election. But his promises of “change” will be difficult, if not at all impossible, to keep.

He will inherit an economic recession and an empty public treasury.
He'll also inherit not one, but two foreign wars.
The game is stacked against him, no matter what he might try.
His possibilities of implementing anything new are ….. nil.

And this is how the Republicans have already managed to “soap the board” in advance…

But in the Republicans’ defense one must know that it was the Clinton administration that threw away the legislation forbidding banks to mix moneys from savings with speculative operations. They called it “deregulation” and it was the beginning of the present economic disaster.

But the American people are smart and can evaluate the presidential candidates’ different implications, responsibilities and programs for change…..

I’m sure you’ll know for whom to vote…

MICKEY MOUSE FOR PRESIDENT…..

No meltdown till 2010. I think there are enough sheeple that they will hold on until it's totally, 120% obvious that Obama/McCain can do nothing. Then the depression kicks into high gear and talk of the revolution will begin.

I disagree..Americans are not smart. If they had been smart they would not have bought a house they could not afford or bury themselves in dept to a level where it's impossible to pay back...kind of like what the Government has done...lead by example.

Republicans...Democrats...same difference. Neither can stop the mess up now, even if either could or wanted too.

The only thing that will get things back on track is a huge attitude change in the masses and an even huge-er change in how much government we have in our daily lives. As it stands now, our government is running our lives...not vice-versa as it should be. Until that ONE FACT changes..there will be no change in what is going on. No difference who wins...neither are willing to say that less government is what we need right now. Both however, agree that what we REALLY need is LOTS more government help....

pffff...thanks Uncle Sam...but I'm sick of you helping me to the poor house.

This is true but it's not the fault of politicians. It's the fault of the voter who wants candy without cost. We vote for the guy who promises what we can't possibly have and believe when he tells us there IS a free lunch. The American voter did this to himself. Stop griping about the government because it can't perform magic. We all have to expect less and be a little more self sufficient. We don't need a 2500 sf. home for a family of four. That 2000 dollar mortgage isnt necessary.

Yes, guys.... you are so right....

And that's why I suggest that everybody vote for my favorite candidate:

MICKEY MOUSE...

at least he didn't promise anything, won't cost you any taxes, and won't mess things up more....
