It's another nite I'm up in the wee hours. I have had this cough all week, and it seems the cough syrup is keeping me wide awake!  I don't see on the label whether it's daytime or nighttime, so how does one know?  So here I sit on the computer waiting for the darn stuff to wear off so I can get some sleep. 
What's with this daytime and nighttime cold meds anyway? Is this the manufacturer's way to get us to buy two bottles of medicine when we get sick? Then too you have to decide where your cough needs the most help - is it in the head, in your chest, are you congested, etc. It's cough syrup people - just give me something to stop this cough!! Sort of like the aspirin bottles - there's one for headaches, one for tension headaches, one for back and body, and the list keeps going on and on. On top of that you decide whether you want it in caplets, tablets, gel, or fast-acting release!! However, I guess Advil's commercial solved that - it's for ALL of it--but it did not help my headaches. 
Anyway, here I sit waiting. Nothing on tv except paid programming. If I have to look at that enzyte commercial again, I'm going to scream. Oh, I forgot, can't do that because I lost my voice.  Tomorrow nite it will be cough drops only.
