I just got the news..We are having a Baby Boy James (my grandnson ) and Mendy--picture in my profile--his girlfriend are due in January. And as I sit here I know its a very happy moment a very special time for us even with all the problems that their young ages can bring..but right now in This moment I feel so very blessed. excited and happy ..This will be my first Great Grandchild and I think thats awesome. Right now im Nana..but soon I am going to be Great Nana..heck I think I am going to be Nana The Great I was a cyber stalker today I have spent the biggest part of today stalking, hovering in between Yahoo instant messenger and MD..waiting for the little icon to pop his online head up so they could tell me what we are having and then the time came..up the icon popped..and hey Mom its a boy and yes..I know that when I come down out of the happy cloud im in right now I as like so many others will begin to worry. Will it be ok? Will they be able to care for his needs? Will I be of help to them? Can they handle all of this? I dont know...but for Now..for just Right now..I am happy..and I am taking the time to just feel it. to live in it...to believe in it Over the past few weeks I have been cleaning, cleaning my soul..and reflecting on just how truly blessed I am. I have the love of my family, wonderful friendships, and the beginnings of peace in my life for the first time in a very long time. I have had many uphill roads to travel over many bumps and holes but as long as I keep going I think in time I will be at peace. This Child God is blessing us with brings me back to times when the world for me was so much easier. One thing I would like in the world would be to be sitting in the middle of my living room surrounded by each one of my Grand Kids. Just breathing in their beauty. Each one is so different yet a piece of me can be seen in each one. Jarrod my oldest 18 in Nov. is a beautiful sweet soul that at times he is so hard on himself his eyes are dark brown pools of seriousness.will work from sunup to sundown without a complaint..James 15 always a joke not far from his lips aww and what pretty lips we always say way to pretty for a boy yet he is a deep thinker keeps so much inside. always the protector..Desiray 14 my little doodle bug..animal lover through and through will pick up and try with all her might to save a hurt one..wants to be a vet and im so sure she would be great..one time she found a clutch of chicken eggs that were beginning to crack open so she thought she could help free them by pulling the shells off yup..uh huh..she cried for a month over that one..Haley Lynne..my namesake..my Angel..eyes the darkest brown brown so dark you cant see her pupils..always ready with a new poem..new song and the girl can dance when I visited her she always sat by me and rubbed my arm..I asked her why and she said cause Nana your skins so fast she meant soft and even at times when she doesnt like her little brother she will move mountains for him..And then theres my Beautiful Green eyed man William..little Willy the joy of everyone..never meets a stranger always filled with questions..always seeking answers..he moves so fast through life taking in and soaking up everything..the giver of giggles and smiles So now you can see I am so very blessed in my life..And this new little life given to us..Will most surely be Loved by each one of us
