It’s very faint, but I heard it this morning. It’s a tiny laughter sprinkled with giggles and smirks. Uncontrollable, it springs forth from a feeling of relief after a tormentuous period of fear and depression. [laughter] The animals and plants are laughing. They’re laughing at us. People. [giggling] They’re laughing because the industrialized world has started to shrink. It’s shrinking back into the cauldrons and smokestacks that it sprung from. People are walking away from the factories that held them captive. The rivers of oil dripping on every square inch of land are flowing slower. The monstrous, belching vehicles that poured off assembly lines are barely trickling out of the plants now. The expansive mansions that tower over the landscapes are emptying and falling into disrepair. [smirking] The only tears being shed contain our greed and ignorance. All those years of work that people have converted into promises are becoming lies. All those years spent learning rules made up by other people before us are turning into one simple lesson. All the blood shed to uphold a house made of cards belong to the joker. The fancy suits and ties that have adorned so many people are beginning to look like what they are... symbols of one’s gullibility and amount of brain washing. [guffaws] It is only a beginning. We may still get to see George and Dick swinging, right next to Saddam. [snort]
