Sunday at cookies house.....my daughter was at a halloween party last nite...so today was a well past noon wake up for her....she told me the party was busted just minutes after she left......underage drinking i hear....her fathers luck.....or just lucky....as long as she made it home in one piece......i was up watching tv when she got home.....i heard her key try to find the door lock several times...i almost got up and unlocked it for her...but the fun i was having just listening to her try and get in was too much to help.....well...for a midday breakfast-lunch i made my world famious sausage gravy over buttermilk biscuits......but of course....she prefered over toast...so the birds in the back yard ate well today.....and we started to watch tv together and both fell asleep......woke up to fearfest on amc.....watched the birds tear up stupid villagers......so now....and for the first time this season....im working on my chili.....i can smell the onions cooking into the lean hamburger as i type this.....and the voice of my hung over daughter from the other room asking me if its done yet......guess its time to add all my secret touches that make it mine......enjoy your sunday out there.......i am.......cookie
