When you like the picture, and the e mails sound genuine, the phone calls start, and at first it's all about whether you are compatible, in humour likes and dislikes,
But there is something deeper waiting to show it's face, it's whether you are compatible intelectually.
You sit down and start to have a serious conversation, and suddenly you realise that this person has little knowledge of the things you do, it does not of course mean that they are stupid, far from it, maybe they know far more about another subject that you do, but it does mean that you're not able to share and enjoy the knowledge that you have, to have a really good discussion on a subject, to be able to discuss through different ideas and aspects.
Of course a brain surgeon couldn't possibly expect anyone else to know all about brain surgery, but their intelegence level would have to be near parr to theirs to be able to communicate equally.
A boring conversation is only boring to the person that is listening to it, and if the chat is not equal on both sides, then lack of communication sets in.
Is it all about where you were educated?.. NO.. the greatest of people have come from the meekest of backgrounds, ....
But where it does matter, is when the candle is lit, the dinner has been eaten, and then the dialogue begins.
What our passions are, our intelect, will always be an important part of our dating process and the results of it.
