With a most sincere apology to the person who came UP with the idea in the first place.....this blog is going to take a twist from what was originally planned ABOUT the robotic arm ( I still think if it gives massages I want one ). Anyhow.....

As I was here earlier messaging someone with a severe condition called Katneckatitis, I heard someone calling me from downstairs. It was my dad! I went to see why he was here and saw my son with him. WTF!? He'd gone out with his friend and comes back with dad!? At around 5:00pm my son called my dad since I did not answer my phone (which was in the basement so I didn't hear it ). My son was in a rollover with his new car (he had it for 3 days........I repeat HAD it). They were on a gravel road in 80 km per hour winds when a deer ran in front of them. Christian swerved and BAM!!!!! Rolled at least twice and in a deep ditch. The air bags did not deploy and only one door would open. They crawled out and adrenaline helped them pushed the car off its side.

I just took the boys to the hospital to get checked out (sorry we didn't go sooner but they insisted they watch "Cyber Sunday" to see Batista win ) The doctor AND nurse said they were both VERY lucky boys. No injuries at all. Just hurt feelings. Christian cried ...which made me cry. Everyone said "Someone has their hands on you." A gaurdian angel? God? Or an invisible robotic arm? Whichever it was, they made me the happiest mom in the world. My son walked away. Not everyone can say that when their 16 year old is involved in a car accident.

Did I want to slap him one upside the head when I heard the news? Of course... but the tears and sadness and heartbreak he felt ripped through me. To hug him and tell him I love him is all I need and all he needed. Even though he had the car for a whopping 3 days, I still have him. A car can be replaced...he can't. And somebody up there thought so too.

So to my Katneck friend and my son.... I am so thankful you both walked away. Whether you want to believe it or not...someone out there has their robotic arm on you at all times whether you can see it or not.

I hate to be the first person to comment on my blog but Christian's having a shower to try to relax and I can hear him crying. Poor kid. He's so heartbroken. 2 cars in 3 months...totalled. But HE is irreplaceable....

Yes poeticcougar, someone is looking after your son. Not everyone comes out of it alive. Blessings to you and your son.

Oh, cougs...he is sooo blessed to be ok!! My friend lost her 16 year old son last week in a car accident...I still cry for her...

My heart goes out to Christian...knows he must be shaken and heartbroken at the loss of his car.....they really dont have a sense of mortality at that age...but it happens...

I haven't started the designs on the invisible one yet.

Seriously, I'm glad he's ok.

kjac, if you design it to look like a cat, no one will ever know you are using one. Glad to hear that Christian is OK in body....his spirit will take a bit longer to heal.

live like this is your last day... it might be. Tell people that you love, you love them. Hug them every chance you get. Especially your kids.
