Its Cold .......

Got up early this morning on my day off to cook breakfast for my daughter before she goes off to college.......the usual three eggs over easy.....dippin eggs we call them.....three pieces of toast....and a large glass of oj......turned on the local news on tv.......its 38* here in indiana with a windchill of 27*.....now that my friends is damn cold......my daughter went out to warm up her car.....and before she left....she asked what i was gonna be doing all day while shes off at school.....and i just looked back at her and said...not one damn thing.....i dont even have to leave the house today.....and with that...she walked out the door...into the cold.....so now...its just me and the cats......and this big mug of french roasted coffee.......i might make myself something to eat.....stay on line for awhile......or just go in and watch some tv in my over stuffed chair.....and drift off to sleep.....life is really good sometimes.....you just have to look for the monents......huh........cookie

	Enoy your day off, cookie......... Wish I could stay home today. I'd crawl back into bed and cover up my head. I have that really bad four letter word that starts with 's' covering my lawn out there. I'm so cold already!

	I just came back from breakfast with my aunt, had my eggs scrambled and some bacon. It is COLD out there!! I had to grab the winter coat today! brrrrrrr

	Sun is shining through my bedroom windows. Looks like it is going to be a really nice day here today. Of course it is just a little nippy, not much. I would like some eggs too, but I like mine over medium. Can not handle that runny white part of the egg, but I do like to dip those runny yellow centers of the eggs. Some bacon, biscuits and sausage gravy. Gotta go, making myself hungry.

	Believe it or not, it's even a bit chilly here in Florida, today. I just took out the winter cover for the bed...no complaints here...it was a hell-uv-a-hot summer. Cookie..have ya ever tried cutting a hole in a slice of bread....giving it a once over lightly with butter or margerine and dropping an egg in that hole? When it's just about ready, give it a flip over to the other side and slide it out onto your plate... I kinda like having the egg yolk and the dipping toast all together...it does a good job of mopping up the mess. KK PS> I had great plans on getting stuff done around the house today, and here I sit (at 2:31 pm) still reading and posting. Well, I'm retired...I keep forgetting that I can do anything I please all day long. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm KK
