I commented on an anti-Obama blog asking for her opinion to be followed up with facts...she told me I was stupid. Of course, she isn't posting any comments that disagree with her, so my stupid words won't be public...thank goodness. 
Of course, I feel that her opinion of me needs to be followed up with facts as well. 
People...if you are going to come on here and blast ANYONE...give us the facts. Otherwise its just your personal opinion, and I personally don't give a rats behind what YOU think.
and...I just read her profile and it all makes sense...a born again christian seeking WHITE only.
I rest my case......

Sorry that happened to you MOA....I've been in that same situation (several times actually) and haven't developed the 'thick skin' to just let it slide. It does help to remember that comments such as that say more about the person saying it than it does about you.

Thats why I dont comment on political blogs..if everyone yells to be heard no one is..Ill vote the way I want and find the answers to my questions along the way..I do read them but with a grain of salt..and btw your Not Stupid..ya did say youve been to Lake Whales FL in my blog..so ya cant be that bad  just kidding

Just don't post on, or read blogs by people who "wait for approval". The same for those who write lopsided blogs and allow no other opinions.Never again, unless they are a newbie, read them or view them. If we all did it that sort of blogger would languish with minimal viewings.
And if you judge her on the color she chooses in potential partners, you prove her stupid call correct. We are free to choose people with whom we have the most in common.

I know you're a nice person and don't mean to be insulting but isn't it just possible that there's just ONE Obama supporter who actually listened to what he wants to do and approves of it? Must you belittle those of us who make a choice to support someone with heart and sensitivity? Can't we just once approve of someone who practices tolerance? I truly believe we can and in that approval there is a nobility that can't be found in all the oil men in the world.

Well...... I will attest to the fact that you ARE NOT "stupid".
Sometimes I may worry that you are a little "mixed up" -- wanting "facts" especially in political issues. And just where my friend, are "the facts" to be found? In what media? And you'd be willing to "bet $$$$" on any such "facts"????
Stating the source of information, even if the source is merely a person's opinion, would, I believe, add substance to otherwise seemingly stupid statements (not yours).
But no, I've never known you to make even so much as a seemingly stupid statement, such as I've done here, there, or anywhere.

I agree we have a right to chose, however the terms "born again Christian" and "white men only" on the same profile just don't sound very...well..Christian to me. I'm not saying that we should date outside of our preferences just because of our faith, but I do think some tolerance should be shown to those who are different from ourselves. To me, that's the real meaning of Christian.

Obama has that same "smile" that Bush has, he's so Presidential looking they all say. He stays so calm and looks like he has a "chip" on his shoulder like Bush has all the time. Everything that people hated about Bush with that confident look, Obama has and they find it charismatic lol. haha it got Bush elected too and look what happed. He has all the most wonderful friends.
