Darn!…Holidays are upon us…… again.
Holidays are so hard on me anymore. Remembering back through the years makes me sad right now. Use to be happy times.. October, November, December, but now it’s just a lonely empty time for me…. Wishing it to pass quickly by. Trying to think of them as "just another day”
I am hoping that will soon change for me. Thanksgiving…Christmas. Especially Christmas. It’s not just about giving, or receiving gifts for me, but once again putting up a tree.. The decorations.. Family. And the love of my life enjoying, and sitting beside me.
Okay I’m getting teary eyed right now…Really I am… so I’m going to shut up now while I can still see the key board to type.
Happy Halloween everyone.

Don't know if it will make you any happier, Lovin....but it's important for you to know that lots of us feel that way. No matter how busy and how much fun I'm having in my life, at holiday time I feel VERY AWARE that I am not with a loving partner.
Over the years I made it more bearable by planning my travel assignments around the holidays so, even though I was not with a Significant Other, I was at least with other people. I'm lucky that now I can do pretty much the same. We have many festivities here at the Mobile Park and I have many choices, so although I'm not with a Significant Other, I am not alone.
Maybe you can check to see what's going on in your area.
Fondly, KK

I understand. It has been reported that Christmas is one of the most depressing holidays of the year and that more people harm themselves at this time. Sometimes I think it is because we looked at holidays through the eyes of a child and once we have no more children, it becomes an effort to try and enjoy the holidays. And too it seems as if more people are broke through the holidays than any other time of the year.

I've been hanging my stockin on the bedpost for 5 years now, and no results. So I guess I'll have to try the more traditonal way and hang it on the mantle.
