Attention: all Americans, this upcoming election will have republicans crying for several years, so please be kind and give them a box of tissues.
McCain has made many mistakes including wanting to give the keys to the nuclear weapons after only meeting Palin one time, then add he admittedly supported Bush over 90% of the time, both showing poor judgment.
McCain smear tactics are coming back to haunt him and many other senators and congressman"s across this country, thereby setting back the republican party back at least 8 years.
Palin has done her part by awakening the base, but, at the same time she divided the party, whereas McCain failed in capturing the Regan Dems, undecided voters and the middle of the road republicans, in doing so, Only he is at fault for this upcoming landslide for Obama and the Dems overall.
Not staying on message has also contribute to his downfall, every week it seems like he would have a new attack and smear message, rather then a coherence substantive that the American public could get behind.
When people are losing their homes, having their electric being turned off, getting laid-off, and forcing to sell personal items just to survive, isn't the time they want to hear about smearing ads. What they wanted was a hope that followed up by real economic plan that will lead us out of this mess that "WE" are all in.
If you want proof that Obama is ready to lead to great country just look how his has ran the greatest campaign ever, remember He started this campaign with no money, being black and a very low name recognition, then add Hillary Clinton had a 100 million dollar lead, a Popular president behind her, not to mention the Clinton Machine already in place. If that wasn't enough stacked against Obama, McCain had a three month lead to get his campaign going, plus he was a Vet hero with 26 years of experience in the senate.
So here's a box of tissue for all the crying republicans.

He got his millions through hard working Americans who truly believe in him for his campaign unlike McCain who just married a rich woman.

^^^^^ I sent 5 or 10 bucks when I could, as did millions of other citizens. The more affluent held their fund raising parties. What a concept! No lobbyists to 'pay back' later.
Good to 'see' you again, edthepoet!

trinity992 Dont you know by now it's ok to play the race card as long as youre the right race. As D. Miller said "I am a middle aged white man, I'm everybodys SOB" As for crying, waite till you see the tears when Obama takes us back to the Carter era...Social programs everywhere and not a job to be found.

I wasn't playing any race card, its a fact that racism still exist, but thankfully it has lessen over time through the youth. Being black isn't an advantage, if that were true, he wouldn't the first black president to be elected.
Obama has worked extremely hard over the years to make the best for himself and his family through education and a true belief in the American way of life.

He got his millions through hard working Americans who truly believe in him for his campaign Yeah right and he walks on water. He signs a public funding pledge then backs out and breaks his word ! He fails to abide by federal campaign disclosure laws Oh did I tell you and he walks on water too ?? He is a puppet buying and lying his way into the white house, and he promises the world to get the votes. Americans have become to lazy to do for them self's we want the government to do it all for us. Shame shame.. .Our fore fathers must be rolling over in there graves

I have looked through history, and guess what their has only been "White Men" as Presidents and there's far more white male employed than black men.
I think you must also take in the fact that Obama is just black, he half white and was raised by a white mother.
He has done everything possible to avoid playing the race card because it would have destory any chances of winning, for African- Americans only represent 15% of the population, thereby costing him the election right from the start.
If you look at his rallies they are comprise of most white people because he didn't play the race card, his campaign is for all American's.

Barry did not run his campaign he has strategist and advisor's who do that he is only the head of the donkey not the donkey itself. The most liberal candidate ever, the most expensive campaign ever, breaks his word about campaign funds, voted with his party 98% of the time etc etc. Voted for tax increases from his party over 90 times sounds more like a follower than a leader.
Oh please do tell what he has done in the Senate since he started running during his first year. His true list of accomplishments is said to be "A organizer for Black Americans in concert with Acorn and their over one hundred affliates.

Just once I'd like to read a blog that has the positives and negatives of both candidates in one place so that the average citizen doesn't have to spend hours and hours googling the various truth or fiction sites to see if they can find any truth.
Yes, we have all heard most of what is being said online, but, it's still only the belief of the beholder, very little proof has been offered and proven.
What will be, will be....black or white.....male or female.....legal contributions or illegal ones, power in the government or with the people, qualifications or not,...it doesn't sound like we're gonna really KNOW the truth before the election. So, both sides will have no choice but to live by whatever comes of it....It's still the best system I can think of.....The important thing is to VOTE.
Just my thoughts....

stand up for this country.....a fact that Obama is not doing.
How sad you see it that way, the man is standing up for all his countrymen, he will unite this great United States of America that is so divided right now.
What ever your beliefs are, do vote!! The more people vote, the more the politicians have to listen to us. They really don't give a hoot when they see 60% voting!!
VOTE VOTE VOTE!!
