Why is it that when you make coffee on the weekend ...that it tastes so much better than thru the week?.....Is it because coffee made thru the week ...is go to work coffee.....and not layed back stay at home and relax weekend coffee.....And why does coffee taste so much better when it turns cold outside.....is it somehow diffrent than summer coffee........and why does coffee smell so much better when its brewing on the weekend...than it does thru the week.....and what about holiday coffee.....as far as i know......once i open up a can of coffee...its still the same coffee till its gone......unless as you go down to the bottom of the can....it somehow gets better.....i use the same coffee maker.....and the same tap water.....could it be just frame of mind on the weekends...or holidays?.....or is there really something going on in that coffee can that i just dont know about.....should i be shaking up the can before i make my morning coffee......that way...if there is a diffrence in the level...it all gets mixed up and i would get same old coffee everytime......nope....i think id rather have my weekend coffee and let the weeks go to work coffee just stay that way.......have a happy weekend everybody.........cookie

Well sir, you came to the right place As a Coffee historian (that knows zilch about Coffee) and as a Coffee scientist (who does not know the difference between the molecule and the proton) I can tell you with a level of tolerance +/- 10 to the power of 1 billion... That it is all in the aromahhhhhhhhhhhh That it is all in the beans And yes, you guessed it, it all depends on the day of the week

cookie: You're absolutely correct! The coffee not only tastes better on the weekends, but it smells a whole lot better, too. Why? I think we're so rushed in the mornings of our work days, that we don't really take the time to stop and smell the coffee beans. And we don't really taste it either, because we have 'getting to work on time' on our minds.
Tip: It may help to open the can upside down, though.

I think because you can slow down and take time to smell the aroma. You can relax and gather your thoughts for a while until the day begins. tc Lost

the only time I can drink coffee is early in the morning while sitting at a picnic table at the lake while watching the fog drift across the lake.. Guess it's just something about being outdoors while there is a little nip in the air
