~Cliff Notes Version Update~

My fiance's cancer...

Brain radiation went well ... *Sunburned* forehead ... Lost hair ...

PET scan after radiation showed no more sites ... Just that right upper lobe lesion in the lung ...

Two rounds of chemo now with VERY LITTLE side effects ... Some nausea ... Fatigue ....

Plan: One more chemo later this month and look to schedule surgery to remove that lobe.

*Huge deep breath*

I've all but officially quit my nursing job and am working with Steve just about every day. I had no clue I could be good at industrial technology .... Anyone wanna buy a powder coating system or batch oven? LMAO!! I'm updating his web site & emailing quotes & answering some questions ... Taking a lot of messages!

We made our enagement official with a ring (see my pictures)
And have pencilled in a wedding date of Dec 27th. ... With consideration of surgical dates, recovery time, etc ...

I'd like to say something profound and very meaningful ... But words escape me right now ....

Carpe diem.

MissLiss said it very well. You have a vested interest. He's a very fortunate man to have you in his corner. I was really fortunate with the radiation I had in my first bout with cancer. I don't think I could have done one more treatment. I saw a couple of people with really bad burns. I'm glad Steve's seems to not be that bad.

You remain in my prayers.

RIGHT ON THE MONEY !!!

Friend of mine had exactly the same course two years ago... Tumour located by causing him to have an epilectic fit, surgery, chemo and new drugs...

Two years gone and not the least sign of malignant tissue...

Escaping with the shock is good enough.

What a sweet love you both have. Hardships in a relationship will make or break you..and you two seem to be making it with a lot of support, love and prayers

Steve has my prayers for strength and continued courage to fight and win this battle with cancer..and you have my prayers for strength and renewed energy to be beside him all the way
