(Just a message.)
The good news and the bad news. 1st the good news – I'm ready to go back to work tomorrow! 2Nd – the bad news is – going back to work cuts into my computer time – considerably.
I'll be poking my nose in here mainly to check up on those I'm holding in prayer and respond to any new prayer requests. Please feel free to send me private e-mails for prayer requests.
For those of you who have sent “friend requests” that I have not yet responded to, please forgive me. I generally only accept “friend requests” from those I have gotten to know really well through blogs, forums, and private e-mails. I felt badly about this for awhile and simply started accepting friend requests from anyone I met and liked. If you are currently on my friends list, but we haven't corresponded at length, please understand if you are removed as I do some housekeeping in MD. It doesn't mean I don't like you, if you are removed from my friends list, it merely distinguishes between acquaintances and those I've really come to know as close friends in my way of thinking.
The same thing holds true for comments on photos. In the beginning, I accepted very few comments on photos, especially any complementing my looks. If a comment you made on one of my photos disappears, it's just that I'm cleaning up.
Rereading this – it sounds really cold. Again, please forgive me, I don't mean to be. I'm just needing to do some prioritizing in my life and my computer time isn't at the top of my list.
I hold a number of you in my prayers – that is a top priory for me. Anyone with a prayer request or simply needing to talk to someone who has shared the cancer experience, feel free to send a private e-mail. Any e-mails are always welcome, I just won't be able to respond as quickly as I have in the past.
Most everyone reading this has been instrumental to my well being during cancer treatments and subsequent surgeries. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hey Girl; 
I'm a longtime member of this site; we DON'T keep in regular contact, but I've held you up in faith and as a mentor, as I've struggled with my own health problems and looked to you, as an example of grace and dignity, in managing similar ones.
I'd love to be added to your Friends, but understand we haven't been in much contact.
Either way, God bless and praise God, for His mighty works, in and with you. 
I wouldn't be smiling amidst my own current physical struggles, without having had you, lighting the path.

Oh Pat, many are the days that the smile on one of your profile pics has warmed my heart and given me hope. But then, you are a beacon to the world and you let your light so shine. Keep shining Pat, keep shining, someone just might make it to the other side because of the light of your smile.

I am so very glad you are able to be going back to work!!!!!!! You have inspired many of us in many ways with your fight. I thank you for being here for me at times that I really needed it. You are indeed a gem.
