My weekend was incredible to begin with as Skin returned home after working 2 weeks in Hawaii....yah....he has a tough job some days....  Saturday afternoon he was working in the shop here tearing down a motor and I was out there sitting in my shop rocking chair crocheting and just being together....when suddenly there is a honking in the driveway. As I had to put my crocheting down carefully (in the bag, not just anywhere....shop grease etc yah know) Skin made it partway to the driveway before me. Suddenly I realized it was the postal delivery guy and I went running past him with shouts of "my parcel's here"  I took the package back in the shop and started opening it....wanting to smell the heavenly candles I had ordered from Canada. They were there, of course, and the scents teased me as I tore off tape. While I was happy that the candles arrived safe and sound it was the other surprises that tumbled out that made my day.....Canadian flags, brochures of a beautiful prairie city, a little bottle of liquid Canada aka Crown Royal (with both French and English on it), and the best gift of all....a framed picture of one of the members of The Canadian Trilogy of Insanity is Fun placed in an absolutely gorgeous Mickey frame....  Here on MD we know this sweet, generous lady as cougz aka poeticcougar....she managed, through all that life has been dealing her lately, to send Canada to North Carolina in a way that no one else has done. Give here all your kudos and hugs....this is one lady who truly deserves them and so much more....
