It's that time of year again. National Novel Writing Month. This year it's vampires. Why? Hell, why not? Twilight is popular right now, Joss Whedon is still the god of many nerds, and besides, I like vampires.
I'm not writing anything new. The vampire genre has been exploited past it's means, so now it's just a matter of doing it better than anyone else. I have no doubt that I will fail, so hopefully I'll put enough sex in it so no one will care.
My MC's family was murdered by vampires when she was 8 years old and now that she's an adult she's off to seek her revenge. In her tiny southern ohio town she had no life, so once she gets to the violent, vampire infested city of New Franklin under the guise of a college student things get interesting fast. She accidentally sleeps with a vampire, falls in with a crowd of vigilante vampire slayers, and gets caught up in the fight between good and evil in a world where you can't tell one from the other.
I just wish I knew her name....
working title is 'Invincible' and the word count is 3,375 (I'm already behind!)
