Looks like Obama will barely win the popular vote.
This was a very bad choice. I predict he will be a one termer like Carter was, and those who voted for him will come to regret it.
Fortunately, he will break most of his promises (since they have never been possible to keep) and not be able to enact many of the others because of Congressional opposition. But there is still the risk that he will do considerable damage to the nation in his four years.
Obama’s hope is to DESTROY the middle class and turn the country into a socialist welfare state where citizen’s aren’t self sufficient, but instead depend on gigantic government bureaucracies for everything. In that way he seeks to concentrate the power in the hands of a few elitists in Washington instead of with the people as the Constitution provides. This goes against everything this country stands for and must not be allowed to happen if this nation is to survive and prosper.
He will be the president. I will support him when he is on the right side of an issue, and continue to oppose him when he is not. But if the policies he tries to enact resemble anything like the ones he proposes, I won’t stand by and watch my country go down the road to hell without a fight. We still have a system of checks and balances in place. We must use that to keep him from overstepping his bounds.

I agree Diamond, I can't support what I don't agree with, and if they don't get his birth certificate deal cleared up and he continues to hide his heritage etc. I won't support him at all. I want an American President who goes by "American" rules and doesn't cheat to get there. tc Lost

 Just imagine, of course highly theoretically, that there is no Birth Cert. and it never existed...my now wouldn't we look stupid to the world!!! but of course The "One" is not that ignorant.....am sure he will last at least 6 months...and then all hell will break loose!!!!!!!!! JMO...then again with his five years of being a Jr Senator am sure he can run an entire Country now!!!!!!

President Obama should expect about the same kind of respect, cooperation and support from Republicans that President Bush received from Democrats.
