. I'm getting on my knees to pray because Jesus Christ would NEVER want for the nation which is closest to HIS light to be led by a black.. even one who is half black, because every Christian knows that blacks are cursed by blood to forever be ruled and woe to the people ruled by them?

I am shocked beyond shocked at the statement here. While I did not vote for Obama, it had nothing to do with his skin. I just don't like his policies and his beliefs. And where does this person get off accusing Jesus of being prejudiced against the African American people? This racist remark should not be allowed here in MD.

And if they are going to pray, they need to ask forgiveness for being rude to someone whom God created. Whether you like it or not, Obama is a fellow brother of all of us. Just because his skin is a different color does not make him any less of a human being. We only have one race and that is the human race.

kywonder: I do not know where this comment came from, nor do I care. I am embarrassed to tears that a fellow American of ours would even think such a thing! Christian? Yeah......right. Total ignorance..............not a good thing.

There will always be prejudiced people. We can't cure all the world's ills. I watched Good Morning America this morning and there was a man of African descent on who's credentials I didn't get so I don't know who he was but he was very wise. He said the election of Barak Obama wasn't the milestone. The milestone came before the election. The country had changed and had arrived. It was this arrival that made it possible for him to be elected. I totally agree. Although you and I were on different sides of the isle in this election, I never considered you anything but fair minded. We can vote differently and still be good Americans and good people. Thanks for being one of those good ones.

How shameful.
Utterly dreadful.
Last nite, I went to bed hoping for peace & unity for our Nation.
Today, my thoughts continue in that vain, though I know it takes all kinds to make our world go 'round.

The country has spoken, but see what the world thinks about "our choice".

We'll just have to see how things play out in the next few years.

People with those beliefs are disgusting and hurting our great land. Problem is there are just as many blacks who feel "we" owe them as there are people who feel this way. Extremism on either side hurts our great land even though we believe they have a right to feel and express their opinions in a correct undisruptive manner.

I heard a black commentator last night who said the blacks have made it and now we have no excuse. Very insightful.

Even though I did not vote for Obama I do pray that he does such a terrific job that he will put to shame anyone of any race or creed who believes or says these types of things.

As a Christian I have found that Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness is what Christ was all about. That does not mean I agree but these three things will win more hearts than anything else.

Those of us who voted against him will not be the disillusioned ones. No the young voters and the blacks, hispanics and poor whites will be as they see him as the messiah the answer to all their woes.

When he cannot provide all his promises without driving this country into financial ruin, they will be the angry ones, not us.

There is simply not enough wealth in the top 5% to fund a tax break for 95% of the people, without bankrupting the top 5%, then where would we be?

Not being a Christian myself, I don't pretend to speak for them. But I will say this. It might be a Christian who created that quote, but it was also a Christian who called him on it.

This "white, wild, fun loving, freckled and down to earth" woman is guessing said "troll" (who's no dummy, by any means) perhaps created his latest profile as an experiment in social science, parodying some of the sentiments I've seen spread around the media, the internet, and even this site ~sigh~

I'd suggest that people take a step back and consider whether they agree with such verbage -- or whether they have friends and family who think that way. Sad as it is in this day and age, I'm sure we all have heard similar thoughts expressed among our contemporaries and neighbors. I know I have. (...which is why I distance myself from certain negative "attitudes". I'm not THAT "forgiving" or "liberal".)

It was tongue-in-cheek, but I don't believe it was forked tongue.

I wonder if he ever considered that Jesus (Yeshua) was a Jew.
He spoke aramaic and was most likely mideatern and dark skinned?

On another note:
When he meets Him and sees Him..I'm sure his first thought will be 'Oh shit.."

I expect someone just put that in there to be shocking.... course, it could be one of those people who think Jesus was a generic white guy like in the paintings in the front of churches not an actual person of color.
