I am the illusionist you want promises I will give them to you.
What about the economy?
I will make it better eventhough I have less experience than either my noble competitor or others who are more suited for the job of the presidency. How will I make it better because I said so and that is all you need to know because I am an illusionist.
How about taxes?
I will lower them. Eventhough I have voted for tax increases in the past and have misrerably failed in a Chicago urban renewal project that squandered 160 million, I will be the man for the job. Do tigers ever change their stripes? No, but I promise.
What about the terrorist threat?
I will solve it. I will speak to the ruthless leaders of nations who hate us and cannot be trusted and I will sit down with them with no preconditions prior to discussion, and I will negotiate. I promise. Will it work? Hey, remember I'm the illusionist and you asked for promises. I'm keeping my word here.
What about abortions?
I have no problem with abortions or even babies that will be refused care when they are born even after a botched abortion. Let them die. You don't have a problem with that do you? Remember, I have the answers for I am the illusionist. All you need to do is believe. Don't worry about babies! If your daughter has a baby while in school she now has a green light to do what is convenient!
What about your faith?
America is one nation under God, the Christian God. That's where our forefathers obtained their standards of morality. My god is called ALLAH and ALLAH is who I will turn to if the religious atmosphere get's ugly in America. I have said that in my book, "Dreams of My Father" whoever he was. You have my promise.
What about your allegiance to America?
My allegiance is to my career as a politician. Where did you think all the money came from that fed my campaign? It didn't come from Americans. Guess? Why should you be concerned anyway. I'm an illusionist, remember? You asked for promises and I'm giving you what you want, promises, right?
But, what will happen to our country?
I will give blacks more unfair advantages because they all voted for me. I will enable those who are too lazy to work. I will build a welfare state like you wanted. I will introduce more left wing philososphy into the classroom for young children to absorb. I will strike down all news agencies, conservative talk radio, and Christian groups who oppose me. I will strengthen the weak by punishing the rich with higher taxes. I will bring change! Change is what you wanted, right? Change I will bring for I am an illusionst!
What about our military, those who protect us?
We don't need a military. We will get out of Iraq. We will leave Afghanistan. Then to balance the budget I will suck the military dry just like Bill CLinton did in order to pay off the deficit. We won't need a military anyway after I get finished negotiating with our enemies. I have promises. That's what you wanted, right? Promises.
Remember when you want entertainment come to me I'm an illusionist. I can make promises that seem real and that is all that all of you care about is the illusion. Reality you ask? We're not talking about reality here! You just wanted someone who could make promises, remember?

As one Secretary of state put it, he is a charlatan. Since he just gave us flowery promises without any facts he is free to do anything without breaking any promises.
The national media is saying he will govern from the center, yes the far left center. Nancy Pelosi says the same but then she is the first true liberal wacko to be speaker of the house and the same is true of Harry Reid in the Senate, both are extreme left liberals just like Obama.
I did not inhale, I did not have sexual relations with that women etc. sound familiar well reality is near for Obama and I fear a lot of blacks will become disfranchised as there is not enough money for him to keep any promises.

For 8 painful years you have dominated the Agenda, spewing hate, forcing the country down one wrong path after another while faithfully following the dimwitted shrub, your latest hero. Oh yes, let us not forget, you also worship Satan (Cheney) as faithful acolytes and then to take the cake, you support a nominee for Vice-President who likely doesn’t know the recipe for ice. You think that taxes can never be raised, as if citizens can expect every service for free, but then, what can we expect of the party that has opposed every social program, including even Social Security and Medicare. Keep walking until you finally fall off into the abyss so that rational people can have a country that both we and the world can be proud of.
