In a sane world we the people would have elected a qualified, experienced, and truthful commander and chief. We would have analyzed his background and if it contained a chronic occurence of conflicts of interest or decisions of questionable character, we would have chosen a more fitting candidate, but we didn't.
America became exactly the mediocre regime that is common place in the rest of the world. By bowing to the demands of the ignorant and self serving and electing on the basis of race, media bias, denial of the inherent flaws in their pick, we became a shadow of ourselves. The stubborn insistance that the red flags that should have warned of the coming danger remained unheeded, and a junior senator barely in office more than three months, became the underserving recipient of the highest office in the land. In a sane world that would not have happened.
In a sane world, drunken rallies costing millions of dollars to promote a candidate to the most crucial job in the world would not be held, but that was not the way Obama played it. He had the unaccounted for money of other nations backing him. He had not the integrity to ask where it came from or the morality to refuse it if it came from one of our enemies. Getting elected at any cost was his sole purpose. It didn't matter how or with who's money.
In a sane world we would have identified this as unacceptable, but these things were overlooked, ignored, even condoned. Why? Because our moral character, our basic sense of right and wrong, our expectations of our leaders is now forever corrupt. There is only greed that guides the people now. What they want, not what can be done for anyone else. This kind of decadence destroyed Rome. The multiplicity of special interests that could not be supported overhelmed the Greeks and ended their great society.
Now our officials in all their glimmering wisdom support gay marriage, abortion, racial discrimination, control of the media, and socializing American enterprise. A republic, who once proclaimed One Nation Under God, in its grand Constitution and Bill of Rights has sunken into the quick sand of indifference, division of the masses, and a mockery of its former self. Justice is only a word not a directive to live by anymore. We see it as a useless relic of the past as we extend our hand for a government giveaway or stimulus check, or to have someone bail us out of a mortgage we never should have applied for.
In a sane world we wouldn't tolerate excuses like, "I deserve this job, this welfare, or this protective legislation because of the color of my skin. In a sane world we would not elect a politician to office because of the color of his skin, but a sane world no longer exists. You now have your man, liberals and Democrats, and it is now your insane world to manage.

For 8 painful years you have dominated the Agenda, spewing hate, forcing the country down one wrong path after another while faithfully following the dimwitted shrub, your latest hero. Oh yes, let us not forget, you also worship Satan (Cheney) as faithful acolytes and then to take the cake, you support a nominee for Vice-President who likely doesn’t know the recipe for ice. You believe in nothing but hate, hate and more hate-you have the audacity to look down your ignorant noses at those who have pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, as if being educated is a negative, only the twisted mind of a conservative could be that delusional. You consider it radical that people in the wealthiest country on earth should have healthcare, my, what a concept.
You think that taxes can never be raised, as if citizens can expect every service for free, but then, what can we expect of the party that has opposed every social program, including even Social Security and Medicare. Yes, Conservatives are Morons but then again, that is too good for you. Thank God the country woke up and gave you half-wits the boot. Keep walking until you finally fall off into the abyss so that rational people can have a country that both we and the world can be proud of. And while you’re at it, please take the idiot Shrub, send the even stupider Barbie back to the Tundra and take Satan back to Hell with you. By the way, take some responsibility for wrecking the country the last 8 years and oh yeah, fess up to the fact that 9/11 happened on your watch.
