being diabetic, i seem to get the ghoulies alot. pain in the butt for sure. add to quitting smoking and lungs getting use to less and less smoke in them adds to the irritation.
not that i'm gonna stop quitting now that i'm so far along. but it seems as if, as soon as i get to feeling well, something else happens.
makes for a boring life. sleeping, sneezing, coughing, fever...well you get the picture.
and i make an AWFUL patient. i'm a great nurse if someone else is sick, but if i am, it's like prison to me.
add to it, a dear friend is dying of cancer and i can't be around her cause i might or might not be contagious and right now she can't be around anyone who might transmit something to her. her body wouldn't be able to handle it.
so here i am, sick and frustrated. unable to do what i want to do, and limited to what i can do.
and poor paul gets the brunt of it. he thinks i'm mad at him, when it's me i'm frustrated with.
i reckon it could be worse. i just wish the ghoulies would find someone else to bug for a while. lol!

Hey Unicorn, hang in there gf, I went through that several years ago when I had an accident and had five back surgeries. At one point they didn't know if I'd pull through either. One surgery after another, I was sick of being in pain all the time and not being able to do for myself. But, low and behold, today one can hardly tell. Everything turned out ok, I can ride horses again and feel better than I did 30 years ago actually. So ya never know how things will turn out. Nearly ten years ago things were pretty gloomy for me, but don't give up, tomorrow is another day, follow what the doc says, that's why they have that degree.  tc Lost
