A friend and I were talking today regarding sex workers and the way society differentially treats how men selling their physical assets - muscle tissues - are rewarded and women selling theirs - T(its) & A(ss) - are looked down on and labeled in unflattering terminology. We were talking about it because she made some sidebar comment that caused me to smile because she finds sex workers so...problematic. I asked her why are men able to be reduced to pack animals, draft animals, so when there is nothing else to do for them, they can always sell muscle power, but women, who don't have male qualities of muscle other than the minimal levels needed to do service work like maid and waitress, aren't allowed to sell breasts and butt to gain finacial rewards.
I shared with her how in the 90s, there seemed to be an explosion of women who pushed open the doors in a 'big' way for exploiting their natural gifts through augmentation, women like Busty Dusty, Heather Hooters, Pandora's Peaks and so on. As per usual, she was big-eyed listening, totally unaware of the alternative market of women's gifts.
Conversation meandered around until I joked that some men get to sell their sexuality, like Long Dong Silver. She immediately recalled Clarence Thomas's Supreme Court confirmation hearings, and asked me if that was a real person's name, and was that a real 'appendage.' I said sure it was...
In doing some research on the offshoots of the topic after she left, I ran across the following video that highlights why it's important to clearly understand the ramifications of what we might wish for...What a Whopper!
Enjoy!
