This to me was absolutely beautiful. I will forever look at thunderstorms differently. Hope you enjoy it.

A little girl walked to and from school daily.
Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the elementary school.
As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with lightning.
The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school and she feared the electrical storm might harm her child.
Full of concern, the mother quickly
got into her car and drove
along the route to her child's school.
As she did, she saw her little girl walking along.
At each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up, and smile.
Another and another flash of lighting followed quickly and with each, the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile.
When the mother's car drew up beside the child, she lowered the window and called to her
'What are you doing?'
The child answered,
'I am trying to look pretty because God keeps taking my picture.'
May God bless you today and everyday as you face the storms that come your way with a smile. Just have a good day!

I loved it Ky! And it reminded me of when my brother and I had to walk up the pasture, across the tracks, to lock the cattle in the new fence area. On the walk back, a storm came up and the winds were so bad we wrapped our arms around a fence post. Hanging on for dear life with our feet flying in the air, our dad appeared. He had run all that distance to find us. I was 8 and brother was 6. Dad managed to free us from the fence post and while we held onto him, he took our hands and we set for a dead run. How we managed to keep our feet on the ground, I will never know. But I will always remember watching dad's face as he joked and laughed while looking up to the sky above as he encouraged our labored run home. He kept us going, but one has to wonder what kept him going.

KY:
I've seen this one before and I marvel at a child's ability to see something so clearly, that I never once had thought of.
Down here in Florida, we don't dare walk in thunder storms, but I can imagine that God is taking photographs of his beautiful Florida landscape.
Fondly,
KK
