Why do I have to live in ohio?
My damned furnace is broken. Haven't called a repair man yet. My ex told me he'd come over and look at it today, but he said that last week and he never called me, so I guess he changed his mind or forgot. I really miss having him here. He can fix anything, while I'm pretty much worthless. He was supposed to bring me my laptop too (he fixed that as well). I wish he would because it would be warmer in bed w/ the laptop than sitting in this chair at the desk.
If he doesnt show in the next day I'm going to have to spend the whole winter freezing to make up the difference of the repair costs, I just know it. Get it fixed now, sure, but I'll have to keep the temp low to keep the gas bill down to put the money back in the savings account. I keep suffering financial setbacks this year, and it's starting to get on my nerves. I need 7k to re-side my house, 2k for a new car and 1k to go on the vacation I want next summer.
It's going to take me years to save up ten thousand dollars. I know I am incredibly lucky to be making twelve dollars an hour in an unskilled job, but it's really slow going, you know?
And in the mean time, it's cold. I'm wrapped up in layers of clothes and a blanket and I washed my hair this morning so I'm wearing a hat to keep my head warm. (don't own a hair dryer...)
