from the annals of googling a nic & a little internet gossip
*from Merriam-Webster online Phenomenon: 1plural phenomena : an observable fact or event2plural phenomena a: an object or aspect known through the senses rather than by thought or intuition b: a temporal or spatiotemporal object of sensory experience as distinguished from a noumenon c: a fact or event of scientific interest susceptible to scientific description and explanation3 a: a rare or significant fact or event bplural phenomenons : an exceptional, unusual, or abnormal person, thing, or occurrence
*from Encarta Dictionary Phenomenon: something notable; something that is out of the ordinary and excites people’s interest
I must say it’s sort of new to me and so noted. In my opinion, it’s definitely out of the ordinary, but I can assure you it does not excite this person’s interest.
The phenomenon that I have recently come across is men who like dressing in women’s lingerie. I guess it’s nothing really new. I’m sure men have been doing this for years on end. It’s simply nothing I’ve ever come across in my own personal life.
I’m not talking about men who like to get dolled up in women’s clothes & go out in the neighborhood. I’ve heard of that forever. I’m talking about men who like to dress up at home in women’s lingerie & get hot & bothered with their female counterparts…..all the way down to polishing their nails red & wearing high-heeled shoes….maybe even shaving their legs.
I know, I know…to each his or her own. Isn’t this another one of those red flags, though, that I talked about here in this blog? Yeah, it’s okay, I guess, if you want to do this, guys, but don’t you think your female companion has the right to know about this before you come into the bedroom dolled up like that? For me, it would be a turn off, as I’m attracted to the more manly man, but maybe some other women would like feeling they are having relations with another woman.
Call me naive, if you wish. And thank you very much, I’ll stay that way! As I said, this is just something that’s come to my attention of late & it’s been on my mind since, so I thought I’d blog about it. There is no intention to insult anyone with my thoughts or feelings.

I don't care what other people do...If someone was with me though and we were gonna get down...And he came in the room smelling like a hooker and dressed like one I'd puke...Then I'd laugh my ass off as I kicked the sick bastard out

While I am a true believer in "to each his/her own" if this scenario was surprised upon me, first I would make sure it was not MY clothing that was being stretched out of shape....then it would be a few hours before I was able to contain myself from laughing long enough to discuss it....

I fought hard with not commenting on this. I understand the fetish part of this. I also understand the inquisitive nature of wanting to know how it feels to wear female clothing. I just have to wonder why a male would want to go public and present this persona? As a teenager this exploration is easily explained. As an adult I can not fathom the idea. At some time you have to decide if you are male and living in a female body, or you have to get over the fetish and move on. Yet, I have to admit, I do know of some that just don't want to make the choice.

I really didn't expect to receive comments on this blog. I know it is a rather controversial subject. But it's something I had to write about. Please understand I am not judging or belittling anyone. Whatever one does in the privacy of their own home is their business...but once you involve someone else.....moreover, once you post pics on the internet, it's a whole different ball game.
Here is another comment that I received privately, but was given permission to post:
Having had personal experience with said phenomenon... Let me just say: Whatever constitutes the opposite of an aphrodisiac - well, that's what this particular phenomenon achieves...Each to his own... but leave mine alone. Get yer own dang lingerie...

I'm sorry but to me almost nothing is more shocking than walking in on your man dressed in your frillies. Talk about a mood destroyer.
Now I'm pretty open minded and I believe to each his own, but I also believe you should discuss something like that with a partner before you suprise them with it. Some women are perfectly fine with it, but not everyone is. It's not new Missliss, just more more discussed these days thanks to the internet.

Controversial or not, I still think that people were "in the closet" for a reason. Call me UBER old-fashioned but eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww men are supposed to men, and women are supposed to be women. end of story. Had my man "surprised" me like that, well I wouldn't have a man anymore. (Ok that was hypothetical, I AM single.......and taking numbers )

Oh My !......I don't know how to respond lol. All I can say is, if my husband (the barn door with tennis shoes) waltzed into the bedroom with my lingerie on....he better be pulling a joke on me....
I like to think I'm pretty open minded.... but that kind of surprise would probably give me the Fred Sanford heart attack....

I am with you on letting the female companion in on "this" side of the personality, and I need to insert a "but" (pardon the pun) here.. but make sure if this is something you do frequently and it is a deep part of who you are... do not make this seem as though it were a joke and a one-time thing.. to find out way later, and be deeply involved in a relationship when "this" side surfaces will hurt you both... well, maybe both, and maybe only the one being deceived.
