Well, our kitten, Hobbes, is now almost four months old and his tomcat is showing. Biting fingers, teasing the elder cats, and attacking dogs 40 times his weight. He's a terror and we have to watch him all the time as he's taken a keen interest in the back door. Being that he isn't afraid of ANYTHING, he's not likely to survive even a brief escape. He purrs excitedly while trying to bite us as we pet him and will attack our feet before we are fully awake in the mornings.
BUT....
He earns his keep by being the cute little, tiny thing that he is. We found him curled up asleep in the dog's water bowl this weekend. He was just as cozy as you please! He EVEN posed for a series of pictures. I love watching him chase things I don't even see. He a maniac, but it's so great to have a kitten again! He's definitely changed the dynamic of the household and I believe he's on his way to establishing himself as alpha, but he's cute... and warm... and fuzzy... and a great addition! I guess we'll keep you Hobbes, but stay off my kitchen table!
