The time has come when I need to let you go enough to say goodbye. You have been in my heart for many years now, from the first time we met, and even though we haven't seen each other in a little over 3 years your still here. But I need to move on with my life to be able to love again and you know me very well, you know I don't give of myself only part way, it has always been all or nothing with me. I need you to know its no ones fault, no matter how much we loved each other it just wasn't meant to be. I will always wish the best for you just as you do me, but I have never really told you goodbye. I guess because its a very hard thing for me to do. I have a chance for love and happiness now and I need to let you go to be able to take this chance, saying goodbye doesn't mean I will forget what you have meant to me, it just means I can move past our life together. Today was a hard day for me and you know why, dealing with my heath problems has taken allot out of me and im tired of doing it all by myself, I want someone in my life again...its time..I will miss you and I know you will miss me too, but there is always memories we share together. We share our love of Orchids their beauty, our love of motorcycles, the everglades in Florida, road trips just because, white wine, laughter oh yes and our love for bottle gigging  ...but the things we didn't share that at the time you didn't understand was my love for my family  , they needed me and you didn't understand. You do now and im glad. You know there have many times when all I had to do was think about you and an email would come or you would pop up in instant messenger..it never failed you always said it was because our hearts were connected  I don't know..it use to make me happy but now it makes me confused and sad and all I really have are your pictures, email I have started deleting, and my memories and its not enough any more, thats why I know the time has come to let go. So climb on your beautiful Harley ride with the wind in your face, my arms wont be there to reach around you any more, and just remember what you told me, " as long as your happy Lynn thats all I can ask for" Know in my heart I will miss you and Love you forever. And I do know because I feel the same way, and thats ok..we will both be fine.

There is a time to move on and let the past be just that, bringing with you all the fond memories you have acquired over the years. I would hope that, if you do finally have that chance at love and happiness again, you jump at it. You will gain even more fond memories to those already kept in that 'secret place' in our hearts, where you will be able to 'view' them anytime you like.

I'm so glad you have sweet memories to put on the shelf and take down when your heart needs to remember sweet times....but am happier that it seems you have a new one to make even better and current memories...gives hope for us all.....even if we dont have sweet memories to revisit...we can vicariously through others...keep telling us of them....
