It is amazing all the "hate" mail one can accumulate while trying to do a little bit of journalism around here….
Oh, I know…. this is a dating site, but I – like many others – use blogland for writing our thoughts about many topics… (which actually give some insights into our personae …. for those who care to read blogs….)
Anyway… it is quite amazing how much nastiness one can collect for a few things pointed out. 
So here to all those who send me these e-mails:
1) No, I will not melt in tears because of your e-mails, my skin is a bit thicker than that 
2) I do write about things that I observe, whether they profoundly touch my own life or not (often they do not… They are things of interest, but they don’t make my heart miss a beat…)
3) If you call me names, don’t flip out because I give you a snappy answer (but I won’t call you names…)
4) Don’t detour the topic of my blogs and then get back to me about whatever you chose to detour it into… (i.e. I write about the interesting idea of how owning a gun makes people think they are more free…. And I receive an incendiary e-mail accusing me of not knowing anything about deer hunters in Illinois….  )
5) If you hate my opinions, observations and generally all that I write, don’t read it, don’t comment, don’t e-mail me…. it’s that easy… 
Ooooffff….. after having gotten this off my chest, I’ll go and enjoy everybody’s blogs now….

I usually agree with you but when I don't and comment I think I have been nice about it. No reason why we can't disagree on some things and still be civil.

Don't let a flood of emails ruin your day. Ignore them, as you have asked them to ignore you if they don't agree, or can't comment respectfully. If they don't get the message,,,, BLOCK THEM,,,, in your email.
I have found nothing offensive in anything you have posted. I may not always agree, but you have been adult with me, so I try to be adult with you. Saddly,,,, some don't get it.

I don't mind if they voice an opinion opposite to mine.... even if they stomp their foot a bit.... That's alright... I can take some wrath....
What I cannot stand is when they call me names and/or detour the topic in order to feed some kind of anger they have against me...
