Just a simple ditty... to the tune of "Home for the Holidays"
(more or less anyway)
May we all count our many blessings on Thanksgiving Day
as well as each of the other 364 days of the year.
And now my diddy.... 
Oh there's nothing like hair for the holidays
cause no matter how long it takes to grow
when you pine for the sunshine in your smiling face
for the holidays there's nothing quite like hair.
I met a pal in chemo, and they were pining for
when they had to deal with bad hair days
and the time it took to groom
they were hoping that their hair would come back soon
Oh there's nothing like hair for the holidays
for the holidays there's nothing quite like hair.
Then came the doctors and the nurses
to relate the well known fact
“No need for you to worry now
for in time it will grow back
For the holidays there's nothing quite like hair
Then sure enough the day came
when bits of hair did sprout
and week by week they'd watch it grow
that's what patience is all about
Oh there's nothing like hair for the holidays
cause not matter how long it takes to grow
If you want to be happy in a million ways
For the holidays there's nothing quite like hair
