I have deleted my Friends list because I am sick to death of other members casting aspersions as to why certain people are on certain other peoples lists.
As I told someone earlier, there are people I like here, people I don't, and some I like more than others. I have kept those I don't want to lose track of in my Favourites, therefore comments on my blogs can no longer be pre-approved. This isn't my choice, I have looked all over the Help section to see if I can alter this and can't find a way to do it (please tell me if I've missed something). 
This person told me they're not here for other people's approval.  Well gee wizz, you don't say! Neither am I, but that's how the site appears to be set up, so who are we to argue, especially when we don't pay anything to be here.
It strikes me that someone who gets their panties in a wad over the fact they have to wait to have their comment approved is very impatient indeed and perhaps even concerned it might be denied. 
Come on now, if you're familiar with the writer, surely you'll know if the comment will be approved or not.... some here approve everything, some don't, that is their right ... and if they don't, what the hell does it matter anyway? It's just a blog
Jeez, I wish that was all I had to worry about. 
Instead, I'm still recovering from a broken my ankle, living hand to mouth on benefits because there are no jobs out there, spending money I don't really have trying to keep my long distance relationship going, wondering how the hell I'm going to manage financially with both my daughters birthdays and Christmas coming up... to name but a few of my current difficulties (but hey, life is difficult if you care to take the time to live it).
It's at times like now that I realise why I, and many others, often leave this place for a while. When people take something as pathetic as blog approvals and blow it out of proportion, or write to people saying they are being libelous, when there is no indication in the blog it is in any way about that person, I wonder how much of a life these people have off line.
Personally, 90% of my time is spent off line and the rest on. This will alter when my sweetheart gets his internet back up and running, but even then I will never spend more than 40% of my time here, and it will be mainly devoted to him because what I have with him is very much real. There are some people here I realise treat the place in the same way I do and I have a lot of time for them. I don't have time for those who think it is their right to misjudge me or tell me what to do.
There is no reason why we can't all treat one another here with respect, agree to disagree and remain true to ourselves. Unless that is, people just refuse to do so. In the words of my darling Stephendedalus..... "That really chaps my ass!"

Now Angel, you know everyone...er...almost everyone loves you !  I've told you a million times not to worry about the troll . Remember, he/she/it might just get that wad of panties up in the air and throw them at you...then you'll be infested with nasty, itchy things all over your body. Egad, what a revolting thought! We wouldn't want that now, would we?

You can go to My Account and comment setting are there.
I so understand about friends list. Some can not handle if you are friends with someone they don't like.

but hey, life is difficult if you care to take the time to live it). It sometimes difficult but it won't be easy anyway especially for regular people like us who 're not born rich.
I hope your children will understand you if you can't do much for them in this year.
They have got alot of love from us is the best if they realized and I hope they will

Thanks ky for helping me over my blonde moment (not to upset any blondes here of course) ... I've set my account to approve all comments now, so hopefully that will shut some people up. I've never had a problem with approving comments, even if they're rude or off topic... I think if someone's being an arsehole then everyone who reads the blog should be able to see exactly what an arsehole they are. If someone is off topic then I will post a comment myself pointing that out. However, I still maintain the right to delete comments.... it's my blog and I'll delete if I want to

Pretty simple solution isn't it? 
It cracks me up that this site provides a very nice tool box full of of tools, but people get all freaked out cuz ya want to open the box and use them.
