Don't eat, don't drink...just sit here and watch the minutes tick away til the doctor's office opens....really hope they're open today. I need routine lab work done and have put it off until today....fasting, hungry and soon to be grouchy...Blood my blood...  hmmm wonder if I could convince someone else to give a sample in my name....

You might be able to, but do you want to know what's wrong with them or what might be right with you?
Just be patient and don't be tempted to chew your arm off, it'll soon be over and you can enjoy lunch.

I know what's wrong with me...I HATE NEEDLES!  But blogging did keep my face out of the coffee pot for now....it's almost time...YEAH. Thanks for indulging me while I gripe....

DaisyMae.....I don't know how often you have bloodwork done, but mine is done routinely, every 3 months....If find, that, if I don't look, I don't feel the needle. (If it does hurt, ask them if they're using the smallest needle possible???) You never can tell.
If you get bloodwork routinely, perhaps you might consider taking along....a banana, or a low-carb drink, or even some crackers. I take something along so I can put something in my stomach, immediately after the procedure.
Oh...and I make my appointments for early morning....between 7:30 and 9 am...I'm not crazy about the early hour, but it gets me up and going....and, it sure beats feeling HUNGRY!!!
