Well, how was everyone's Thanksgiving? It's over and I still can't believe it...where did this year go???

I spent my day just the way I wanted....by myself in peace and quiet. No turkey this year so somewhere there is a very happy one but one poor chicken gave its life for the cause....cause I used it for my dressing instead of turkey.

I spent the day alternating between cleaning, putting up Christmas decorations and playing on Zelda...there was more people here than I thought there'd be for a holiday.

For the first time in 8 years I put up a Christmas tree. I waffled about it then decided not to until I went for my thrift shop "fix". They had a nice little 4 ft. tree for only $5.00 and now it sits on a table in the corner and looks pretty as can be. I miss having icicles on it though....I have cats and ya know what they do with icicles....yeah it ain't no fun pulling them out....well nevermind... That'd be TMI....

Today I'll finish decorating then tonight I think it's time to get back out among the living...I'll meet a friend at the Eagles....female friend...don't have the other kind..

I've been playing around with a story this morning. How about it ladies....would ya like a very simple Christmas love story? Sorta akin to a cheap romance novel...only shorter. I look at my Christmas tree and romance stirs in my bones and since it's not to be a real thing again this year, I'll just live it in a story...story of my life....make believe....

	It sounds as though you're getting 'things' together, Patches. Good for you!!! I, for one, would love a Christmas love story from you. Bring it on!!! I do believe there are several of us here, men included, that would agree that's what any romance in our lives of late has been.........a romance story. Purely fictional! Nonetheless....we can still dream about finding the right one!

	Patches thanks for sharing. I spent the Holiday alone as well. It was bitter sweet to say the least. I would love to read your "love" story. I'm going out among the living today too. Later!

	Here's a suggetion. I too have cats and dogs, I have to anchor my tree to the wall with a huge red ribbon like a big bow to keep my tree in an upright position but to keep the cats from taking my ornaments I use this stuff called boundary it smells really bad to the cats and dogs and they leave my stuff alone. It is clear so it won't show. That way the tinsel is not aproblem. haha Using this stuff my tree stayed intact for 30 solid days not tip overs no ornament hockey.
