I would just like to say so long to all the friends that I have made here on MD. But I am going to take a hiatus for awhile to decide whether or not I want to remain on this site or not. I am so sick of those who think that their writings are the only ones worthy of being posted in blog land. Have a Happy Holiday and God bless all my friends.

ANYONE can post to blog land.....
as far as one person's writing being better than someone elses,,, who cares.
The point is that you write for yourself. If someone, like me, enjoys the work you do,,,,, that's all the better.
Take that break if you need it,,,, but you will be missed.

Besides, I was sooooooooooo excited to come home to tell you about the baptism I just went to.  My ex-boss was positively glowing ear to ear. The Holy Spirit was ALIVE in there. And then there was this baby who clutched onto me and cried when I gave her back to her mom. And then this guy  wow! It was a great night! Just thought YOU would appreciate that Now if you leave, think of all the positive you'll miss out.

you know what happened to me twice on here..its wrong for mean people that have only one goal in life and thats to strike out at people they even know..Sherry when it happened to me you told be to be strong and not let them hurt me...and I stayed because of your words and love for others...the very people that do this don't care for themselves...Please rethink it

Why me, of course:
I must tell you, my surrogate coworkers, that I thought of those today for whom words perhaps do not come as easy. And while I must admit there was a time when I took a hard line against the c/p crowd in Blogland, I believe it is simply wrong to make anyone feel uncomfortable or unwelcome who is just trying to reach out. And I deeply regret the aforementioned hard line I took. For at the end of the day, my reposts and my rushed posts and my careless writings were not written to entertain, but rather were written as a vehicle to connect. And I believe this need to connect is a basic human need that should neither be denied nor discouraged.

I generally stay in the background very quietly but I am still here & I have grown very fond of certain individuals & feel somewhat close or connected to them over the yrs. And you ARE very much part of blogland...

Blogland is a mirror of the outside world  There are a lot of good people who care and try to make a diffrence  and then there is the trash that crawls out of the gutter  and tries to destroy what is good and drag you down to there level,the gutter  they leave nasty comments on peoples blogs and try to hurt them  because the trash have low self esteem and low self worth they want to bring you down to there level do as you would any other nasty pile you step on........Wipe them off the bottom of your shoe, kick the trash back where it came from and carry on, we need you here. I enjoyed reading your blogs too if not about God and bible bcos i have no idea aboout it.
I always take it easy as I'm not a real blogger but more into copy and paste lol
I was there once but I finally made up my mind when I could see that we are all friends in the same MDLAND. Love, understanding and forgiveness really tender our hearts.

ky, I'm not happy that you're discouraged by some people who are not even worthy of any of your feelings towards them. I look at it this way....when I am recipient of rude or nasty comments, it just helps my in my investigation process of deciding to whom I shall pay attention.
If you feel taking some time away from MD is necessary, by all means do so. But, I, along with a whole line of others above, want you to return just as soon as you feel comfortable doing so.
You know how much I enjoy your blogs...I look forward to them being one of the bright spots in my day.

Sometimes....I dont think it hurts to take a break. After a bit...you learn not to take things too much to heart. People are people....all different types and variations.....and when someone writes something that is sensitive to them.....they can explode onto the screen with all sorts. But that is their problem. It doesnt mean you have done anything wrong. It is up to them to control their outbursts.
Dont take it to heart if someone doesnt like one of your blogs......or says something negative. Sometimes they are only looking for attention...and its the quickest way they know how to get it. Build up a strong sense of yourself.....and to hell with everyone else that is negative about what you have to say. All you have to think is....*I am pleased with what I have written......if you dont like it.....go suck eggs................
Dont let anyone or anything stop you coming on here....if you enjoy MD. None of us will enjoy EVERYONE....but there are people on here worth visiting. These are the peole I like to stay for. So take a break.....doing what makes you happiest.....then come back with your strong sense of self...and BE YOURSELF !!

A break can change your whole outlook, step away, come back and see what is real and what it not...so much comes up in here, knee jerk reactions to things and we all err in responding that way too. So much can build up in the
unconscious
we lose focus on who we are...taking time to go bond with yourself sounds like a very wise idea...you are a wise woman and I hope after you take a break you will be able to see that the ididiotcy of the morons that seek to disrupt the good people in here are really just full of hot air and don't matter in the real world, real lives of you and others in here
You will be welcomed back anytime you decide to return, if even only for a visit

I have not posted a blog in a few days and was about to when this one of yours caught my eye and shocked me to read what you said.....aw hun! I don't know why you are so upset, but please close your eyes to anything that causes your eyes to cry from pain...let those tears just wash away anything someone said to upset you!
