I am in a really nostalgic mood tonite.. and I have been thinking of my hippie chick days.. remembering things that were sparked back to the surface by some old music I found on YouTube...
Back in my hippie chick days, I was stylin babbeee... I had me a fringed jacket, a suede headband.. granny glasses, a peace sign necklace, elephant bottom jeans (not these pansy wansy bell bottoms... I am talking elephant bottom.. they were wide babbeee).. and my hair was down to my frikken azzz.
I was in college in Scranton, and my favorite store to buy my threads in was the Free Spirit. Now, rumor has it, that if you went into the Free Spirit, sat down, let your hair down and put your feet up.. you would walk out one happier person than you went in as... chalk that one up to the super studly guy that owned the place.. Dierk was his name, and he was "hot", or mayhaps it coulda been the frikken awesome threads... I got my very own genuine embroidered white patten leather rain coat and up to the frikken knees white go go boots.. holy shite was I smokin! and nope, you didn't have to do that at the Free Spirit.. you just needed to inhale... cuz low and behold .. the incense was some of that there Frank's incense that Tunes was spoutin out about in his awesome blog the other night.. and it was uplifting!!!
