There will be no “click”,
no “spark”,
no “electricity”,
no “vibes”
that could persuade me to chose one guy rather than another.

I will not stumble, jump or fall in love…. ever again....

I’m done with these starters of desire, infatuation, and often times failure.

Yes, I’m done, done, done….


But…

I’m not done loving… (ha!.... what did you think? )

Only this time,
I will examine the direction of your mind
I will sound out your soul
I will scan the map of your heart
I will test your honor, your loyalty, your word
I will weigh you and hold my scale up while blindfolded
I will sit, and wait, and see....

And… if and when you pass the scrutiny….

I will let my love for you thrive freely and abundantly…. one day at the time…
