I have been learning to live my life "without" children for the last several months...called the "empty nest" syndrome. At first it was challenging and lonely...but I am now in the "yippeee" I can do whatever I want phase!!
MY THOUGHTS ON ONLINE DATING:
It is much like applying for a job....you put your resume in, they read it, and you cross your fingers hoping and praying that you get the job...over and over and over again....lol Although I really do think it is the best way to go now...there is actually a "political correctness" to online dating. A date is now a "meet and greet". This is where you critically "check" each other out to see if they are worth a REAL date...LOL Although I love the old fashioned dating....I am flexible with the new I think. The important thing is to be able talk and have fun getting to know one another.
RELATIONSHIPS:
I am about the journey...not the destination. Though I plan on getting to my destination....I love how I get there more. I want to know you, enjoy you, and have fun getting to wherever it is we may go...but that means knowing how you react on a bad day as well as a good day. Having a bad day isn't "Drama". It is simply a bad day. Creativity and romance in a relationship is good! Flirting is a lost art...communication, talking, conversation...is wonderful! Would love to meet a man who "gets" me and I "get" him. Good looks are are only secondary as the man I seek need only look "good" to me...however he should take pride in how he looks and try to be healthy. Chemistry really is the key as to whether or not you are attracted or not. It is either there or it isn't. |
