Read a couple of my blogs to get a feel for me. I'm only interested in long term, so all you sex hounds and good time guys can just blow off right now.
I am a writer first and foremost. It is my passion. My ideal life is to work part time doing something that I enjoy while writing, be it novels, short stories, screenplays, comics, whatever. It's all I want to do with my life.
I like classic rock, contemprary and urban fantasy books (and well, lots and lots of other books). Favorite movies are comedy/fantasy/sci-fi/romance/teen movies/period films. Joss Whedon is my hero. I like drag shows and piano bars. I wish I went to see live theater more, but I never have anyone to go with. 98% of my clothes come from the thrift store--it's my favorite way to spend an afternoon. Other good things: skating, hiking, playing air hockey, board games, dancing, singing.
I've been kind of a hippie these last few years. No car, no styrofoam, recycling, gardening, vegetarian diet, and so on. I live my life below my means--way below. I'm very concerned with self sufficiency, and being able to survive on as little money as possible because our economy is starting to scare me.

I like guys who are smart and creative, who always have some project in the works, be it art, carpentry, writing, computers, mechanical, musical....he just has to have interests beyond television, drinking, gaming, and sports.
I don't date people who drink a lot or are heavy drug users. I don't like smokers either. Occasional drinking or pot smoking is okay.
No cat allergies. You will not survive my house.
Overly religious people make me nervous. Also, not interested in anyone who plans on voting for John McCain.
